OVEN-ROASTED PORK LOIN WITH DRY RUB

Oven-Roasted Pork Loin With Dry Rub image

A highly rated recipe from All Recipes.com/submitted by branchan that I have tweaked just slightly I feel for the better! ---I also use this rub on boneless Boston butt roast that I roast in the oven and then slice, for a pork loin about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of the rub should be enough although you may use more if desired --- the roast needs to marinate for a minimum of 6 hours or up to 24 hours in the fridge, then must sit out at room temperature for a couple hours before roasting, so plan well in advance, make certain to line your pan completely with foil, because of the brown sugar it will be very hard to clean, or use a heavy disposable foil pan.

DRY RUB FOR PORK

Dry Rub for Pork image

I've had this recipe on a tattered piece of paper in my recipe box forever. Thought I better post it here for the time the paper copy disintegrates. It's my favorite for pork and chicken. It's not hot, but has a ton of flavor. You could add heat by adding cayenne to taste.

SUPER JUICY GRILLED PORK TENDERLOIN

Super Juicy Grilled Pork Tenderloin image

This flavorful and juicy grilled pork tenderloin recipe is first seasoned with a dry rub, then marinated in a sweet bbq soy sauce, and grilled to get beautiful grill marks and a juicy inside.

Provided by Lee Funke

Categories     Meat

Time 2h46m

Number Of Ingredients 15

2 lbs. pork tenderloin (typically comes in a package of 2 1-lb. pork tenderloins)
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
¼ teaspoon cayenne
2 teaspoons garlic powder
¼ teaspoon ground pepper
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1.5 teaspoons coarse salt
1 tablespoon minced garlic
¾ cup BBQ sauce (any kind)
¼ cup soy sauce (or tamari)
2 lb. carrots, peeled
2 tablespoons olive oil
¼ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
¼ cup soy sauce

Steps:

  • Pat pork tenderloin dry with a paper towel.
  • Mix dry rub ingredients together in a small bowl and then season both pork tenderloins on all sides. Use your hands to rub it in.
  • Whisk together the marinade ingredients in a separate bowl. Then, pour the marinade into a large Stasher bag or Ziploc. Add dry-rubbed pork tenderloins to the bag and make sure they are completely submerged. Seal the bag and let the pork marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  • When ready to cook, heat grill to 450°F - 500°F.
  • When the grill is preheated, carefully spray grill grates with a little cooking spray (be careful this will ignite the flames) and sear pork tenderloins over direct heat for 2 minutes per side.
  • Then, turn ½ the burners to low and move pork tenderloin to the low heat side, leaving the other side burners on high. Your grill should drop down to around 400ºF.
  • Grill pork tenderloin for around 12 minutes*, flipping halfway through. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the pork. It should reach an internal temperature of at least 145ºF.
  • Remove from the grill and let rest for at least 5 minutes.
  • Use a sharp knife to slice pork tenderloin and serve it with the grilled carrots.

PORK TENDERLOIN WITH SEASONED RUB

Pork Tenderloin with Seasoned Rub image

For an elegant main course, try Ellie Krieger's Pork Tenderloin with Seasoned Rub recipe, a succulent roast spiced with cumin and coriander from Food Network.

Provided by Ellie Krieger

Categories     main-dish

Time 35m

Yield 4 servings

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt
1 1/4 pounds pork tenderloin
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon minced garlic

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
  • In separate bowl mix dry ingredients such as garlic powder, oregano, cumin, coriander, thyme and salt. Stir mixture with a fork until all the ingredients are well combined and they form a seasoning. This will be used as a rub to ensure the pork is well seasoned throughout. Sprinkle the rub over the tenderloin with a dry hand, then rub the pork with the seasoning over both sides of the meat, pressing gently so the seasoning adheres well to the tenderloin.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and heat. Add the minced garlic and saute, stirring, for 1 minute. Put tenderloin in the pan and cook for about 10 minutes, searing each side using tongs to turn the meat. Transfer meat to a roasting pan and bake for 20 minutes. Slice and serve.

PORK TENDERLOIN RUB

Pork Tenderloin Rub image

This Pork Tenderloin with Seasoned Rub recipe is one of our family's top 5 favorites! Turns out perfectly every time and pleases all the palates.

Provided by Thriving Home

Categories     Pork

Time 30m

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon ground thyme
1 teaspoon salt
About 1 1/4 pounds pork tenderloin (This is where we buy our favorite pork tenderloin.*)
1 tablespoon olive oil or avocado oil

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 450° F.
  • In small bowl mix dry ingredients-garlic powder, oregano, cumin, coriander, ground thyme and salt. Stir mixture with a fork until all the ingredients are well combined and they form a seasoning.
  • Rub the pork with the seasoning over all sides of the meat, pressing gently so the seasoning adheres well to the tenderloin. (Freezing instructions begin here.)
  • Optional Step (If freezing, skip this step!): In a large skillet (or oven-safe pan) over medium-high heat, heat the oil until it's shimmering. Carefully place tenderloin in the hot pan using tongs and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, until the meat is browned evenly.
  • Transfer the pork to a roasting pan (or if it's in an oven-safe pan, place direction in the oven) and bake until it reaches an internal temp of 145°F. This will take about 20 minutes. It will still be slightly pink inside.
  • Let meat rest for 5-10 minutes so juices redistribute. Slice on an angle and serve.
