Homemade Flea Shampoo For Dogs Food
NATURAL DOG SHAMPOO FOR FLEA REMOVAL
This is a second recipe I found when searching for a natural way to shampoo my dog when I found a few fleas on her. I have not tried this method as I used one where I had all the ingredients on hand. This one uses baby shampoo instead of the dishwashing soap. The vanilla will help to soothe the sting of the mint against the dog's skin.

Steps:
- Place the water and mint into a pan and bring to a rolling boil. Remove from heat and then stir in vanilla thoroughly.
- Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature. Once it is cool, stir in the baby shampoo until bubbles start to form.
- Strain this mixture into a bowl to remove the mint leaves.
- Put into a squeeze bottle (leftover shampoo bottle) for easy application. Massage into dog's fur and let remain on the dog for 5 minutes for best results. Rinse dog's fur completely with warm water to remove all shampoo.
- Towel dry the dog's fur.

NATURAL DOG SHAMPOO - FLEA REMOVAL
My poor pooch had a couple of fleas on her this summer (never had this issue before) and I needed a way to bathe her and kill the fleas without causing skin reactions as she has so many allergies. I found this through the e-how website and IT WORKED! The fleas just floated in the water and died and best of all little Libby did not have any reactions at all to the process. Cooking time is actually the time to leave the solution on the dog.

Steps:
- Mix the three ingredients in a large bowl and then transfer to a leftover squeeze bottle (like an old shampoo bottle). Give it a little shake to make sure it is mixed.
- Apply to your doggy just as you would normal shampoo. It is best if you can massage it into the fur and let sit for 5 minutes. My dog did not mind as long as I kept massaging the shampoo around.
- Rinse your doggy thoroughly with warm water. Towel dry.
