Steps:

  • In a small bowl or jar, combine spices.
  • For a fine powder, combine in a small food processor.
  • Store in an airtight container.

A zesty version of ranch that will quickly become a favorite. Great for a topping on favorite Mexican dishes, a veggie dip, or a dip for chips.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
1 envelope Hidden Valley Ranch Dip Mix
1½ tsp chili powder
¼ tsp smoked paprika
¼ tsp regular paprika
¼ tsp onion powder
⅛ tsp cumin
pinch red pepper flakes
pinch cayenne pepper (optional)
⅛ tsp salt

Steps:

  • In a 1-quart mixing bowl or (carefully) in the sour cream container, combine the ranch packet, chili powder, smoked paprika, regular paprika, onion powder, cumin, red pepper flakes, cayenne pepper, and salt. Mix well and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Once dip has refrigerated and flavors have had a chance to mingle, serve with your favorite veggies or as a dip for potato or corn chips.

1 cup Hellmann's mayonnaise, reduced fat
1/2 cup sour cream, light
1/2 cup plain yogurt, non-fat
1 (1 1/8 ounce) packet ranch dip mix
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled (or use Mexican Queso Fresco)
2 tablespoons dill pickle relish
2 tablespoons salad pimento stuffed olives, drained and finely chopped
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 dash Tabasco sauce (optional)
1 green bell pepper
1 red bell pepper
1 orange bell pepper

Steps:

  • In a medium size bowl, combine mayo, sour cream, yogurt and Ranch dip mix and garlic salt until well blended.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients, mix them together and place in the refrigerator to chill.
  • Meanwhile, wash peppers and remove the tops and reserve them as "caps". Remove seeds and veins and rinse from inside and drain them.
  • Pour the dip into each one of the peppers and serve with tortilla or pita chips and crudites vegetables and enjoy.

16 ounces sour cream
1 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients in a medium sized bowl.
  • Chill in the fridge for 1 hour.
  • Serve with your favorite tortilla chips. To jazz it up add mexicorn or sweet corn, and top with finely shredded cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and olives.

Sliced ripe olives, chopped, tomatoes, sliced green onions and shredded lettuce, optional

  • In a shallow 1-1/2-qt. microwave-safe dish, combine the sour cream, beans, chilies and dip mix. Stir in 1 cup cheese.
