HERBED MACARONI AND CHEESE
Besides being a really easy recipe to make, it tastes very good, too! This is not your ordinary, run-of-the-mill macaroni and cheese. The herbs and spices, along with the sour cream, give the dish a wonderful flavor. - Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain. Place in a 1-1/2-qt. casserole and set aside. , Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and seasonings; gradually add milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove pan from heat; add the sour cream, 1/2 cup cheddar cheese and Havarti cheese. Stir until melted. , Pour sauce over macaroni; toss to coat. Combine the Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs and remaining cheddar cheese; sprinkle over casserole. Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes or until heated through.

HOME-STYLE MACARONI AND CHEESE
I have tried every baked macaroni and cheese recipe out there and they all turn out too dry. This is the cheesiest,creamiest, recipe I've ever made. Delicious!! I used three cheese Alfredo style pasta sauce, but you can use whatever you like.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Lightly mist an 11x7 inch(2 quart) glass or ceramic baking dish with vegetable oil cooking spray and set aside.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil over high heat.Add salt,if using,and stir in the macaroni.Reduce heat to medium-high and cook uncovered about 8 minutes.Reserve 1 cup of the pasta cooking water,then drain the macaroni well in a colander.
- Transfer the macaroni to the prepared baking dish.Add the pasta sauce,2 cups of the cheese,and the reserved pasta cooking water,and stir until ingredients are well combined.Scatter the remaining 1 cup of cheese over the top.
- In a small bowl,toss the olive oil with the bread crumbs, and then scatter on top of the cheese.
- Bake until the macaroni and cheese is bubbly and the crumbs are lightly brown,25 to 30 minutes.

I know there are several Mac & Cheese recipes already on here, and I figured one more wouldn't hurt. :) Cook time for pasta isn't including in prep or cook time. As with all my recipes, please feel free to adjust the seasonings according to you and your families tastes.

Steps:
- Cook pasta according to package directions and set aside.
- Over medium heat, in a medium size saucepan melt margarine and add onions.
- Cook onions until softened.
- Add flour and cook until lightly browned.
- Turn heat to low and add milk a little at a time, stir until desired thickness is reached. ( You might need a little more milk, it all depends on how thick you want it. ).
- Remove sauce from heat and add 4 1/2 ounces of cheese, a little at a time or it might turn out " STRINGY ".
- Add seasonings to sauce and mix well.
- Add cooked pasta to seasoned sauce and stir until pasta is well coated.
- Pour pasta/sauce into an 11 x 7 inch pan that has been prepared with cooking spray.
- Sprinkle with remaining cheese, and sprinkle additional paprika if desired.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until top is golden brown.

HOMEMADE MAC & CHEESE (THE BEST YOU'LL EVER HAVE)
I made this up today and it turned out even better than I imagined. I took ideas from many differnet mac & cheese recipes and tailored them to my preference. Please try this recipe and rate it! I have been on recipe zaar for years and no one has tried or rated any of my recipes yet.

- Boil water.
- Add macaroni. Cook until tender.
- Meanwhile, saute onion in olive oil, then set aside.
- Combine softened cream cheese and sour cream.
- Heat cream cheese and sour cream mixture over medium heat until uniform.
- Add desired amount of garlic powder.
- When mixture is smooth, add cheeses, bit by bit.
- I don't know the exact measurements for the cheeses, I just got all the cheeses in standard blocks and shredded it all. It looked like alot to me.
- Once all the shredded cheese is incorporated, combine cooked macaroni, cheese sauce, and caramelized onions in a baking dish.
- top with bread crumbs, and bake at 350 for 35 minutes.
HOMESTYLE MACARONI AND CHEESE
It's not a lowfat casserole, but it's so delicious you won't care. Add leftover ham for an even heartier meal.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Cook macaroni (1/2 pound= 2 cups dry) until just al dente.
- You can use elbows for a traditional look, but try scoobi-doo-- it works well in this recipe.
- Drain pasta well.
- While the mac is boiling, melt the 1/4-cup butter in a large pot.
- Whisk in the flour.
- Over med heat, whisk until smooth and bubbly (only about a minute).
- Stir in milk, cream cheese, salt, pepper& mustard.
- Keep cooking and stirring until sauce is thickened-- about three or four minutes.
- Cut the block of cheddar into half-inch cubes.
- Add drained macaroni and cubed cheddar& combine well.
- Pour into a casserole sprayed with Pam.
- In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and sprinkle over top.
- Dust with paprika if desired.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until top is golden brown and casserole is heated through.
DOWN HOME MACARONI AND CHEESE
My kids don't like most homemade macaroni and cheese dishes, but they love this one. It is creamy and cheesy!

- Blend in flour and salt; cook and stir 1 minute.
- Gradually add milk; cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.

- Pour into lightly greased 1-1/2-quart casserole.
- Melt remaining 1 Tablespoon butter; toss with bread crumbs.
- Sprinkle casserole with remaining 1/2 cup cheese and bread crumb mixture.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
