1/3 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise
1/4 cup minced chives
2 teaspoons minced fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
8 slices whole wheat bread, toasted
1/2 cup shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat broiler. Combine the first 7 ingredients. Place 4 slices of toast on an ungreased baking sheet; top with tuna mixture and sprinkle with cheese., Broil 3-4 in. from the heat until cheese is melted, 1-2 minutes. Top with remaining toast.

1 can (6 ounces) light water-packed tuna, drained and flaked
2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
1 teaspoon minced fresh parsley
1-1/2 teaspoons dill weed
1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Pinch cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons fat-free mayonnaise
1 tablespoon reduced-fat sour cream
3 cups Boston lettuce leaves
6 grape tomatoes, sliced
Optional: sliced cucumber and fresh dill

Steps:

2 teaspoons lemon juice
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Sliced sandwich bread of choice

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, combine the tuna, mayonnaise, celery, onion, bell pepper, capers and lemon juice. Mix with a fork until thoroughly combined. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve on the sandwich bread of your choice.
