- Blend ingredients in blender or food processor 20 sec. or until well blended.
- Store in tightly covered container at room temperature up to 1 month.
- For each serving:
- Spoon 2 Tbsp. prepared drink mix into large mug. Add 1-1/2 cups boiling water; stir until mix is completely dissolved.

- 1. Mix the ingredients together 2. Put the mixture in a tin or jar 3. To serve - use 1 to 2 teaspoons of mix for 6 to 8 ounces of hot water. you can pump up the flavor by adding a little more of the spices you like. I like cinnamon,of so I add a pinch or so more and sometimes a pinch of nutmeg as well. you can also experiment with the amount of sugar - a very "go by feel" recipe since some might like their tea less or more sweet.
FRIENDSHIP TEA
This is a lemony spiced tea mix with cinnamon and clove that makes great gifts during the holidays, or any time!

- In a large bowl, combine instant tea, lemonade powder, orange drink mix, cinnamon and clove. Mix well and store in an airtight container.
- To serve, Put 2 to 3 teaspoons of mix in a mug. Stir in 1 cup of boiling water. Adjust to taste.

- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Dissolve the yeast in warm water and set aside.
- Mix the dry ingredients (in the above order) in a bowl, and then cut in the shortening as you would for a pie crust. When it looks grainy or like little beads, it's time to stir in the buttermilk and the yeast mixture. Mix thoroughly but don't overmix.
- The dough is ready to use, or it can be refrigerated in a covered bowl for later.
- When ready to make biscuits, place dough on a well-floured counter or board and knead lightly.
- Roll out (don't overroll or work the dough) and cut with a biscuit cutter.
- Place the biscuits on a greased pan and let rise slightly--this is an important step, especially if you have refrigerated dough.
- Then bake in a 400-degree oven 12-15 minutes.

- Drain all the liquid from the beets except 1 1/2 cups.
- pour the 1 1/2 cups beet liquid into a medium saucepan.
- Add all of the other ingredients except the sliced beets.
- Mix well.
- Add the beets.
- Cook over medium heat for 3 minutes or until liquid thickens.
- Allow to cool.
- Refrigerate.

Steps:
- Grease a 13x9-inch pan.
- Mix the egg, water and nuts in a large bowl.
- Add the dry cake mix; stir well, but don't overbeat. If the batter needs a litle more water, add a teaspoonful at a time. But don't add too much because the batter should be thick. Don't overmix - just mix enough so that there is no "powder" showing.
- Pour into the prepared pan, being sure to smooth the top evenly.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes for chewy brownies; if you like them a little drier, bake a few minutes longer.
