1 pound kielbasa sausage, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 tablespoon butter
1 (14 ounce) can beef broth
1 (10.75 ounce) can tomato soup
1 ½ cups water
3 cups shredded cabbage
1 onion, chopped
½ cup diced green bell pepper
1 ½ teaspoons salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
¼ cup sour cream

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, cook sausage in butter until brown. Pour broth, tomato soup and water into pan with sausage. Stir in cabbage, onion and bell pepper and season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes, or until flavors are well blended. Stir in sour cream and heat through before serving.

1 (16 ounce) package kielbasa, sliced 1/2 inch
2 cups sliced carrots
1 cup sliced celery
1 cup chopped onion
4 cups chopped cabbage
1 cup white wine or 1 cup apple juice
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 bay leaf
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Heat butter in a Dutch oven, add kielbasa and brown lightly over medium high heat.
  • Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.
  • Add carrots, celery and onion and cook over medium heat until softened.
  • Add remaining ingredients and kielbasa, bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

2 pounds kielbasa sausage, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 ½ pounds sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
2 Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored and sliced into rings
¾ onion, sliced into rings
2 pounds red potatoes, quartered
1 ½ cups chicken broth
½ teaspoon caraway seeds
½ cup shredded Swiss cheese

Steps:

  • Place half the sausage in a slow cooker, and top with the sauerkraut. Cover with the remaining sausage, apples, and onion. Top with the potatoes. Pour chicken broth over all, and sprinkle with caraway seeds.
  • Cover, and cook on High 4 hours, or until potatoes are tender. Top each serving with Swiss cheese.

6 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
¼ cup butter
10 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 ½ pounds kale - rinsed, dried and chopped
⅔ pound kielbasa sausage, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces

Steps:

  • Place the potatoes into a large stockpot, over medium high heat. Add butter and water, and bring to a boil. Cook potatoes until tender, about 20 minutes. Reserve the cooking liquid and mash potatoes in the pan until smooth. Return the potato water to the pot and stir in salt and pepper. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Stir in the fresh kale and sausage and simmer for another 30 minutes. Serve hot.

1 onion, chopped
1 lb kielbasa, smoked fully cooked, thinly sliced (up to 1 1/2 pounds)
2 (15 1/2 ounce) cans great northern beans
2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
1 (4 ounce) can green chilies, chopped
2 medium carrots, thinly sliced
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Steps:

  • Fry bacon in skillet until crisp.
  • Crumble bacon and place in large slow cooker.

1/2 pound fresh kielbasa or Polish sausage links
1/2 pound Italian sausage links
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped
3-1/2 cups beef broth
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 cup apple juice
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
4 ounces uncooked spiral pasta

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, cook sausages over medium heat until a thermometer reads 160°. Remove with a slotted spoon; drain, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings. Cut sausages into 1/2-inch slices; set aside., In the drippings, saute onion and pepper until crisp-tender. Stir in the broth, tomatoes, apple juice, parsley, garlic, basil, oregano and sausages. Bring to a boil; add pasta. 3 stalks celery, sliced
1 (46 ounce) can picante v-8 tomato juice
2 teaspoons sugar

Steps:

  • Brown ground beef in a large saucepan. Drain the fat and mix in remaining ingredients.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil and reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Cool and freeze in a 16-cup container.
