VEGAN HAWAIIAN PITA PIZZAS
These vegan Hawaiian pita pizzas are quick, easy, delicious, and nutritious. Made with pineapple, tempeh bacon, and fresh fruit and vegetables, and drizzled with a little BBQ sauce, they're a real crowd pleaser!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400 F.
- Place pitas on a greased baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Spread with about 2 tablespoons of marinara each.
- Divide remaining toppings between pizzas.
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes.
- Drizzle pizzas with ½ tablespoon BBQ sauce each.
- Slice, serve, enjoy!

- Heat the oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the tempeh bacon in a single layer and fry until cooked through, about 2 minutes per side. Cut into 1/2-inch squares and set aside.
- Place the pitas on the prepared baking sheet or pizza stone. Spread each with 2 tablespoons marinara sauce. Sprinkle the cheese over the sauce on each pita then top with the tempeh bacon, pineapple, peppers and onions.
