JUICIEST HAMBURGERS EVER
No more dry, lackluster burgers. These are juicy, and spices can be easily added or changed to suit anyone's taste. Baste frequently with your favorite barbeque sauce. If you find the meat mixture too mushy, just add more bread crumbs until it forms patties that hold their shape.

- Preheat grill for high heat.
- In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, evaporated milk, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, and garlic using your hands. Form the mixture into 8 hamburger patties.
- Lightly oil the grill grate. Grill patties 5 minutes per side, or until well done.

Steps:
- Divide meat into 4 equal portions (about 6 ounces each). Place 1 portion on a work surface. Cup your hands around the meat and begin to gently shape it into a rounded mound. (Use light pressure as you shape so you don't pack the meat too tightly.) Lightly press down on the top of the meat with your palm to gently flatten it. Continue rotating and cupping the meat, patting the top of it occasionally, until you've formed a 4"-diameter, 3/4"-thick patty. Using your thumb, make a small indentation in the center to help keep the burger flat as it cooks. Transfer to a plate. Repeat with remaining portions.
- Build a medium-hot fire in a charcoal grill, or heat a gas grill to high. Season one side of patties with salt and pepper; place on grill, seasoned side down. Grill until lightly charred on bottom, about 4 minutes. Season other side, turn, and top with cheese. Grill to desired doneness, about 4 minutes longer for medium. Transfer burgers to buns and let stand for 3 minutes before serving.

- Baconator. The Baconator, Wendy's answer to the Big Mac and the Whopper, is not for the faint of heart—literally. Thanks to the two quarter-pound patties layered with cheese and six slices of bacon, biting into a Baconator tastes like biting into a salt mine.
- Double Stack. This is the double-patty version of the Jr. Cheeseburger, and that extra patty makes all the difference. Even though the patties are smaller, this burger packed more flavor and was overall more satisfying than most of its more expensive siblings.
- Big Bacon Classic. The Big Bacon Classic is a deluxe cheeseburger with a quarter-pound patty and, obviously, bacon. But on our burger, the little bit of bacon was hardly noticeable.
- Dave's Single. Dave's Single is the Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxe with a larger, quarter-pound patty and a better bun. That said, it's still nothing memorable. When ranking the burgers, I kept forgetting about this one.
- Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxe. This is your standard value menu cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and onion. The patty is tiny. The bun looks like Play-Doh. It's exactly what you would expect from a $2 cheeseburger.
- Pretzel Bacon Pub Burger. Wendy's set out to create a fast-food version of a fancy burger, and this attempt tastes like a poor imitation. There's a lot going on with this burger, and sadly, none of it is good.
