Steps:
- Preheat grill to medium.
- Soak skewers in water while preparing the BBQ sauce. In a medium saucepan melt butter and saute onions and jalapeno, until tender. Season with cayenne, and salt and pepper. Add ginger, brown sugar, orange juice and ketchup in that order making sure to blend each ingredient completely before adding the next ingredient. Let simmer until the edges begin to caramelize, about 15 minutes. Set aside and let cool. Once cool, remove half of the sauce and reserve for dipping. The other half is for brushing on the shrimp when grilling. Cut bacon in thirds. Thread each shrimp onto a skewer, starting from the tail end. Bend the shrimp as you thread it so it lies in 1 straight line on the skewer, removing its natural curve. Wrap the center of each shrimp with a piece of bacon. Brush with BBQ sauce and place skewers with bacon, seam side down, onto the grill. Cook over medium heat until bacon crisps and shrimp is cooked through, about 8 minutes.

Steps:
- Place the olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and garlic in a resealable plastic bag. Seal and shake to combine.
- Add the shrimp to the bag and seal. Toss to coat evenly with the marinade.
- Marinate for at least 15 minutes or up to 2 hours. You don't want to marinate for longer than that, as the acid in the lemon juice will start to cook the shrimp.
- Thread the shrimp onto skewers. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium high heat.
- Place the skewers on the grill. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Broiler directions: Preheat the broiler. Place the shrimp skewers on a sheet pan coated with cooking spray. Broil for 2-3 minutes on each side or until shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Sprinkle with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

- Soak the wooden skewers in water while you prepare the shrimp. In a medium bowl combine honey, lime juice and zest, minced garlic, cayenne, jalapeño and a sprinkle of salt. Mix well and add shrimp, toss gently to coat. Let sit for 10 or 15 minutes. (The lime juice which is acidic will "cook" the shrimp slightly, that's okay)
- Heat grill. Thread 8 shrimp on each skewer like shown in the photos. Lightly brush each side with melted butter. On a medium hot grill, place skewers and grill 2 to 3 minutes on the first side. Turn skewers and grill another 2 minutes. Try not to overcook, 4 to 5 minutes is plenty on a hot grill. Remove, sprinkle with salt, pepper and chopped cilantro. Enjoy!
