DOREEN'S HAM SLICES ON THE GRILL
This is a longtime favorite of my family -- even the most selective 'diners' like it! Cooked ham is basted with a warm, zesty sauce while grilling. Smoked turkey slices may be substituted for ham.

Steps:
- Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate.
- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, lemon juice and prepared horseradish.
- Heat the brown sugar mixture in the microwave on high heat 1 minute, or until warm.
- Score both sides of ham slices. Place on the prepared grill. Baste continuously with the brown sugar mixture while grilling. Grill 6 to 8 minutes per side, or to desired doneness.

- Set outdoor grill for medium-high heat, then lightly oil the grates.
- In a bowl combine the lemon juice with brown sugar and horseradish; heat in microwave for 1-1/2 minutes or until warmed.
- Score slices of ham, then season very lightly with black pepper if desired.
- Place on preheated grill.
- Baste continuously with the horseradish sauce while grilled.
- Grill time should take about 7-8 minutes per side.
- Delicious!
ZESTY HAM STEAKS ON THE GRILL

- In a small saucepan mix together brown sugar, horseradish and lemon juice.
- Over medium heat, heat the glaze to where it's just coming to a simmer, stirring so the ingredients are well blended.
- Heat your grill to 450 degrees. Turn heat down to 350 degree. Place the ham steak on the grill and cook 4 - 5 minutes per side.
- Using a brush, baste both sides of ham with the glaze often. Grill over medium-hot until heated through and well glazed.
- Cut into portions and serve immediately.

- Cut outer edge of fat on ham diagonally at 1-inch intervals to prevent curling (do not cut into ham). Mix mustard, honey and preserves.

- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Drain all fruit; RESERVE all liquid.
- Cut each ham slice in half and layer in baking pan.
- Pour 1/2 of reserved fruit liquid over ham.
- Bake in 350°F oven for 20 minutes, basting occasionally.
- Meanwhile melt margarine in saucepan; stir in brown sugar, the remaining reserved fruit liquid and the curry powder.

- In a bowl, combine the egg, milk and cracker crumbs. Crumble meat over mixture and mix well. Pat into a greased 5-3/4x3x2-in. loaf pan or shape into loaf and place in a shallow baking pan., In a small saucepan, bring glaze ingredients to a boil; pour over loaf. This is one of my son's favorites. It's easy to make, and delicious. For a sandwich, add a slice of swiss or provolone on top at the last minute and throw the combo on some great homemade bread.

- Combine the pineapple juice, brown sugar (don't forget the extra tablespoonful!), mustard, lemon juice, onion salt, and soy sauce in a medium saucepan, stirring well. Bring to a boil, reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered for 5 minutes; stir frequently. Remove sauce from heat, and set aside.
- Trim any excess fat from the ham slices. Grill over medium coals for 20 to 25 minutes or until desired degree of doneness. While cooking, turn ham slices and baste every 5 minutes with the reserved sauce.
