GILROY GARLIC BREAD

Steps:

• Thoroughly combine first 6 ingredients in medium bowl.
• (Can be prepared 2 days ahead.Cover and refrigerate. Bring to room temperature before continuing.).
• Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
• Spread garlic butter on cut sides of bread.
• Wrap each bread half in foil.
• (Can be prepared 1 day ahead. Refrigerate.).
• Place bread on baking sheet, cut side up.
• Bake 20 minutes, remove foil from bread.
• Preheat broiler; broil cut side up until golden brown, about 2 minutes.

GILROY, CALIFORNIA, GARLIC BREAD

Steps:

• Soften the yeast in the water in a large bowl.
• Add the cottage cheese, garlic, egg, oil, oregano, sugar, salt, and baking soda and stir well.
• Add the flour to the mixture, blend well, and put in a warm place to rise, loosely covered, until doubled in size.
• Stir the dough down and turn out into a well-greased, 2-quart casserole dish. Let rise for another 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 350°F
• Bake the bread for 40 minutes, or until the top is lightly browned, then let rest for 10 minutes. Slice and serve warm.
• Note: If you wish, you can add some chopped fresh parsley, savory, or basil (1/2 teaspoon each) for a tasty garlic-herb bread.

CALIFORNIA FRENCH BREAD (BETTER THAN GARLIC BREAD)

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 400.
• Mix mayo, parm , and half the green onions.
• Spread mixture on slices then top the slices with the rest of the green onions.
• bake until its brown and bubbly.
• Serve Hot!

EASY ONION GARLIC BREAD

Steps:

• Combine first 4 ingredients. Mix well.
• Spread butter mixture on bread slices.
• Lightly sprinkle on cheese.
• Broil bread 2-3 min or until golden brown.

CALIFORNIA GARLIC BREAD

Steps:

• Split bread lengthwise. Mix ingredients and spread on bread. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until bubbly on a cookie sheet.
