This is the best finger gelatin recipe. I've been making it for many years. It's simple to make, and kids love it! You can be very creative for parties or events by using cookie cutters to cut the gelatin. Enjoy! Use your favorite flavor of gelatin mix.

Steps:
- Need medium saucepan, and 9 inch cake pan....press and seal plastic wrap....You may use juice in place of water...I love to mix the gelatin flavors (2 different flavors) such as lemon and peach or lemon and black cherry) In medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil...sprinkle all gelatin packets into boiling water and stir constantly till all is dissolved...
- Stir in cold water...stir well and pour into cake pan and cover with press and seal plastic wrap...Chill for 3 hours or place in freezer on a flat surface...remove from frige or freezer after gelatin has set....Cut into 1 inch cubes and you can store in a airtight plastic container..Enjoy!!
- Little kids and big kids love these......They aren't messy like regular Jello can be.....

MAGIC FINGER JELLO
The only Jello finger recipe my mom ever used... and after trying many, it's the one that's worked best for me! (*Note: Cooking Time is chilling time*)

Steps:
- Dissolve unflavoured gelatin in one cup of cold water. Set aside.
- In saucepan bring one cup of water to a boil and add Jello. Bring back to a boil and then remove from heat.
- Add gelatin mixture to hot Jello mixture. Stir and add 1/2 cup cold water.
- Pour into a greased pan, cover with plastic wrap, and set aside in fridge until solid.
- Cut into squares or use cookie cutters to make interesting shapes.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
- Note: each season it's fun to make these different colours and shapes. In our family we make green and red Jello Fingers at Christmas, at Valentine's Day red heart-shaped ones, St. Patrick's Day green clovers, Halloween orange circles (you can make into jack-o-lanterns) - it's fun for the kids and the Mom and Dad!
- (This recipe is ideal for an 8x8 pan, but for really little kids it's great if you've got a 9x13 as it makes them thinner.).
FINGER JELLO
You kids will love this. I could never make this enough for mine. And you will find yourself dipping into it, too.
