Ingredients

2 ounces London dry gin
3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
3/4 ounce simple syrup
2 ounces Champagne
Long spiral lemon twist (for serving)

Steps:

Combine gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Fill shaker with ice, cover, and shake vigorously until outside of shaker is very cold, about 20 seconds.
Strain cocktail through a Hawthorne strainer or a slotted spoon into a large flute. Top with Champagne; garnish with lemon twist.

Ingredients

1 to 2 ounces gin (or cognac)
1 teaspoon simple syrup
1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
4 ounces Champagne
Garnish: lemon twist

Steps:

Gather the ingredients.
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes, pour the gin or cognac, simple syrup, and lemon juice.
Shake well .
Strain into a chilled Champagne flute that is at least half full of ice.
Slowly fill with Champagne.
Garnish with a lemon twist , if desired. Serve and enjoy.

Ingredients

1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp sugar syrup
50ml gin
champagne
ice
lemon zest

Steps:

Pour the lemon juice, sugar syrup and gin into a cocktail shaker then fill up with ice.
Shake well then strain into a champagne flute. Top with a little champagne, leave to settle (as it will bubble up) then fill up with more champagne. Swirl gently with a cocktail stirrer then garnish with a strip of lemon zest if you like.
