CRAB DIP
This easy Crab Dip recipe is meant to impress, made with fresh lump crab meat in a creamy dip that can be served hot or cold.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Add cream cheese to a mixing bowl and beat until smooth. Stir in mayo, sour cream, garlic, green onion, Old Bay seasoning, salt, Worcestershire, and lemon juice.
- Add ¾ cup cheddar cheese and hot sauce and mix until smooth. Stir in crab meat.
- Spread into a 9″ pie dish or similar size baking pan and sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese on top. Bake for about 20 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Serve warm, with slices of sourdough bread, crackers, tortilla chips or chopped cold veggies.
- Leftover crab dip will keep, stored covered in the fridge, for up to 5 days. Rewarm in the microwave.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Beat cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth. Stir in the crabmeat, minced onion, lemon juice and Tabasco sauce. Spoon mixture into a small oven-proof dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 20 minutes or until the sauce is bubbly. Serve with crackers, potato chips or tortilla chips. You can also use fresh crabmeat in place of the canned crabmeat.

EVERYONE LOVES THIS CRAB DIP
My DH came up with this recipe, so ingredient amounts are approximate (he does it by taste). This is really good served warm in bread bowls. Spiciness can be adjusted by using more or less garlic and Worcestershire sauce.

Steps:
- Mix all ingredients except crab together until well blended.
- Fold in crab.
- Put dip into oven proof container.
- Top with cheese if desired.
- Heat at 350°F for 10-15 minutes or until heated through.
- Serve warm with crackers or French bread.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350° degrees F.
- Slice the French bread very thinly into 1/4-inch slices, cut each slice into two pieces, place on a baking sheet and brush each slice with melted butter; add the cracked pepper, pressing to adhere; place under the broiler for approximately 2-3 minutes until lightly toasted; Turn each slice over and toast the other side for 2-3 minutes until lightly toasted; Remove from oven and cool in the pan on a rack.
- In a small bowl combine the cream cheese, sour cream, garlic, crab, Parmesan, cayenne and salt; mix well; Lightly butter two 4 oz. (1/2 cup) ramekins, fill each ramekin with the crab mixture (This can be done ahead of time, covered and refrigerated until ready to bake).
- When ready to serve, bake for approximately 20 - 22 minutes until top is bubbly and starting to turn brown; Place on a plate with a pate knife and the toasted bread and serve.
- Makes approximately 1 cup.
