EASY BOARDING HOUSE MEATLOAF

Steps:

• Microwave green bell pepper and onion in a microwave-safe bowl at HIGH 2 minutes.
• Combine onion mixture, ground beef, and next 4 ingredients. Shape into a loaf. Place in a lightly greased 9- x 5-inch loaf pan.
• Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Remove from oven, and pour off pan juices. Spread half of Meat Loaf Sauce evenly over meat loaf; bake 25 more minutes. Remove from pan, and serve with remaining Meat Loaf Sauce.

EASY AND QUICK MEATLOAF

Steps:

• 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
• 2. In a large bowl, combine the beef, egg, onion, milk and bread OR cracker crumbs. Season with salt and pepper to taste and place in a lightly greased 5x9 inch loaf pan, OR form into a loaf and place in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
• 3. In a separate small bowl, combine the brown sugar, mustard and ketchup. Mix well and pour over the meatloaf.
• 4. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour.

BOARDING HOUSE MEATLOAF

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
• Combine all ingredients for meatloaf.
• Place into greased 9x3 inch loaf pan.
• Bake for 1 hour.
• Pour off juice and bake about 10 minutes longer.
• Place on platter and cover with sauce.
• For sauce simmer all ingredients over low heat until onion and pepper are tender.
