1 (16 ounce) package fettuccine noodles
6 tablespoons butter
⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese
salt and ground black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil. Stir in fettuccine, bring back to a boil, and cook pasta over medium heat until tender yet firm to the bite, 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and return pasta to pot.
  • Mix butter, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper into pasta until evenly combined.

1 lb lean ground beef
1/4 c fine chopped onion
1/4 c uncooked long grain rice
1/4 c fine ground cracker crumbs
1/3 c milk
1/4 tsp poultry seasoning
salt and pepper to taste
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
3/4 c hot water
1 small can sliced mushrooms
BUTTERED HOME STYLE EGG NOODLES
1 pkg 8 oz. home style egg noodles or frozen reame's noodles
1/2 stick butter
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • 1. Combine beef, onions, rice, cracker crumbs, milk, salt, pepper, poultry seasoning and mix well. Form into small meatballs. Place in a shallow baking dish and brown in 350 degree oven approx. 20 minutes. Remove from oven and drain grease off of meatballs well. Add remaining ingredients and stir. Cover and bake additional 1 hr to 1 hr. 15 minutes until rice is done and sauce is thick.
  • 2. In a large sauce pan bring salted water to boil. Add noodles and cook until tender. Drain and return to pan. Add 1/2 stick of butter and salt and pepper. Serve with meatballs and sauce.

Prepared in a slow cooker, this recipe couldn't be any easier! Serve over buttery hot cooked noodles and you'll have a happy crowd! Recipe can doubled or halved. If you cant get the onion soup then replace it with 2 diced onions and a pint of beef stock.

1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed French onion soup
225 g sour cream
1 1/3 kg frozen meatballs
450 g uncooked egg noodles
55 g butter

Steps:

  • In a large slow cooker, mix together the cream of celery soup, French onion soup, and sour cream.
  • Stir in the meatballs.
  • Cook on high heat for 3-4 hours.
  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
  • Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain. In a large bowl, toss the pasta with butter.
  • Serve meatballs and sauce over the cooked pasta.

These oven-baked meatballs are fast and easy to prepare and very kid-friendly. You can serve them with pasta and spaghetti sauce or just eat them with ketchup, as my children do. Feel free to substitute lean ground beef for the ground turkey. The turkey should have at least 7% fat.

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 (20 ounce) package ground turkey
1 egg, beaten
⅓ cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with the olive oil, and place it in the oven while preheating.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together the ground turkey, egg, and bread crumbs using your hands. Using an ice cream scoop if possible, form the meat into golf ball sized meatballs. Place about 1 inch apart in the hot baking dish. Press down to flatten the bottom just slightly.
  • Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven, then turn them over, and continue baking for about 5 more minutes, or until somewhat crispy on the outside. Serve with pasta and sauce or however you'd like.
