Had this at a friends once and loved it. i serrve it at home gatherings. I love it on waverly crackers and ritz type crackers.

Number Of Ingredients 5

8 ounces cream cheese
2 green onions (minced)
1 teaspoon divided Accent seasoning
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 (2 1/4 ounce) jar dried beef, rinsed with warm water, drained well and chop well

Steps:

  • Mix ingredients together using half of the beef.
  • Taste, add more accent if needed a little at a time.
  • Then forml into a ball.
  • roll the ball in the rest of the beef.
  • Refrigerate until firm about a hour.
  • Serve with crackers.
  • **Verygood with low fat cream cheese.
  • this recipe makes a small ball.
  • If doubling cream cheese just save 1/4 of the meat for outside.
  • **easierrolling-You may also want to let the ball firm up in fridge before placing meat on the outside.

We always had this at our Neighborhood Girl Scout Meetings. Pat Davis was always so kind to make this for us as it is very Delicious!

2 (8 ounce) packages dried beef
4 -6 green onions
1 teaspoon garlic salt
2 (16 ounce) packages cream cheese
1 teaspoon Accent seasoning

Steps:

  • Rinse the dried beef before chopping to reduce the salt.
  • Chop dried beef in small pieces.
  • Do the same with the green onions.
  • In mixing bowl mix cream cheese and chopped onions and 1/2 of the dried beef, accent and garlic salt.
  • Mix well and shape into ball.
  • Cover the ball with the rest of the dried beef.
  • Serve with triscuts or any other crackers or party bread.

  • Reserve about a half cup of chopped dried beef.
  • In a separate medium bowl, combine the remaining beef, cream cheese, green onions, Worcestershire sauce and seasoned salt. Mix well and roll into a ball.
  • Roll the ball in the reserved beef, coating the entire outside of the ball.

2 8-ounce pkg. cream cheese softened
1 4.5-ounce jar of chipped beef (save some to roll the cheese ball in)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
3 green onions chopped (save some for rolling the cheese ball in)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Steps:

  • Let the cream cheese soften in your mixing bowl. Add the garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce to the bowl of cream cheese. Beat with your hand mixer until smooth and creamy. Rinse the chipped beef, if desired. It's too salty for me. Cut the chipped beef into tiny pieces, chop the green onions, and grate the cheese. Combine everything together, add the black pepper. Mix until smooth. Place the mixture into a bowl and cover with some plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for two hours. After two hours mold the mixture into a ball. Roll the cheese ball in some chopped green onions and chipped beef. Serve the chipped beef cheese ball with crackers or celery. Enjoy.

5 packages (2 ounces each) thinly sliced dried beef
12 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup finely chopped sweet onion
4 drops Worcestershire sauce
Ritz crackers and assorted fresh vegetables

Steps:

  • Place beef in a food processor; pulse until finely chopped. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Stir in 2/3 cup beef and the onion and Worcestershire sauce. Refrigerate, covered, at least 1 hour., Place remaining beef in a small shallow bowl. Shape cheese mixture into a ball; roll in beef to coat evenly. Wrap; refrigerate at least 1 hour. Serve with crackers and vegetables.
