- 1. Soak bread in warm water to cover for 5 minutes. Squeeze chunks gently to remove excess water. Place in a large bowl. Add beef, veal, garlic, parsley, egg and cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Knead mixture with hands for a full 5 minutes until combined. Shape a heaping tbsp. of meat into a ball. Repeat. 2. Fill a 10-inch skillet halfway with canola oil and cook over high heat. Gently slide 8 to 10 meatballs at a time into skillet. Reduce heat to medium and fry, turning once, about 6 to 7 minutes on each side. Using a slotted spoon, transfer meatballs to a bowl. Heat meatballs in sauce for 20 minutes. Serve with spaghetti.
EASY BAKED MOSTACCIOLI
Simple hardy mostaccioli pasta dish that can be baked in a throw-away aluminum pan for easy clean up.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook mostaccioli in the boiling water, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, 8 to 10 minutes. Drain.
- Meanwhile, heat a nonstick pan over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground beef until browned and crumbly, 5 to 10 minutes. Remove from the heat. Drain and discard grease. Add spaghetti sauce to the pan and mix with the beef.
- Transfer beef mixture to the prepared baking dish. Spread evenly over the bottom and layer cooked pasta over top. Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Cover with foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes. Remove foil and continue to bake until cheese is melted and lightly browned, about 10 more minutes.

I have made this many times and everyone loves it, especially the kids...Try it...You will love it too! Serving size really depends on how small or lg. you cut your wedges. Steps:
- 2 (9-inch) deep dish pie pans.
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Boil spaghetti according to pkg directions. Drain, and set aside.
- Brown the meat, and IF you are using canned or jarred spaghetti sauce, add onion, Italian seasoning, and basil to the beef mixture.
- If you are using your own homemade sauce, it will already have enough spices in it to your taste.
- Add salt and pepper, to taste. Set aside.
- Beat 2 eggs, and mix in with spaghetti.
- Add Parmesan cheese, and mix well. Set aside.
- Spray pie pans with non-stick cooking spray.
- Layer each pie pan, making a well in the middle, with a thin layer of spaghetti on the bottom, and bringing spaghetti up the sides to make a pie crust.
- You may, or may not have spaghetti left over, depending on how big your pie plates are. Set aside.
- Beat 2 eggs, add Ricotta and parsley. Mix well.
- Layer a layer of spaghetti, a layer of ricotta, a layer of meat, and a layer of sauce.
- Cover with Mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 mins., or until cheese is bubbly, and all is nice and hot.
- Serve with garlic bread or sticks, and a salad, and you have a delicious meal!
