DOMINO'S CINNA STICKS

This is a copykat recipe. If you like Domino's you will love these. They are fairly easy to put together for an after school snack or addition to your dinner!

1 package prepared pizza crust (or your favorite recipe)
1/4 cup melted margarine
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 lb powdered sugar
1 tablespoon milk
1 tablespoon melted butter
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Roll out pizza dough into a large rectangle.
  • Brush melted margarine over dough.
  • In a small bowl combine sugar, and cinnamon, mix well.
  • Sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar mixture liberally over the pizza dough.
  • Slice the dough into either long sticks, or cut dough in half, and then slice into smaller sticks.
  • (The smaller sticks are easier to handle.) Place on an lightly greased cookie sheet and bake for approximately 15 minutes or until done.
  • While the pizza sticks are cooking mix together the powdered sugar, milk, melted butter, and vanilla.
  • Mix until smooth.
  • You may need to add an extra teaspoon of milk.
  • Serve icing with sticks.

These pizza sticks tastes just like how Domino makes them! It's perfectly seasoned in a cinnamon-sugar mix and comes with its classic dipping sauce.

For Dough:
3 cups all-purpose flour
2¼ tsp active dry yeast
2 tbsp canola oil
½ tsp salt
1 tbsp white sugar
1 cup 110 degrees F warm water
2 tbsp melted unsalted butter
½ cup sugar
2 tsp Cinnamon
For Sweet Dipping Sauce:
4 cups powdered sugar
3 tbsp milk
2 tsp vanilla

Steps:

  • Dough:
  • Add the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast in a large bowl.
  • Add in the canola oil and warm water.
  • Roll the dough out into a 13 x 6-inch dough rectangle.
  • Add to baking sheet that has been lined with foil or sprayed with oil.
  • Brush with melted butter.
  • Add the cinnamon to the sugar, then mix.
  • Sprinkle half the mixture over the dough.
  • Bake at 375 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes or until browned.
  • Sprinkle over the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • Cut into 1-inch strips.
  • Sweet Dipping Sauce:
  • Add the powdered sugar, milk and vanilla together in a small bowl, then mix.
  • Microwave for five seconds to warm.
  • Serve dipping sauce with the sticks, and enjoy!
