Our Keto Hot Chocolate combines dark chocolate squares and canned coconut milk for a dairy free twist on a classic thick hot chocolate recipe!

13.5 oz canned coconut milk ((one full can))
2.5 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
2 squares dark chocolate
15 drops liquid stevia
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp pink salt
1 cup nut milk ((optional for more volume))
sugar free whipped cream ((optional))

Steps:

  • Add coconut milk, cocoa powder, dark chocolate, stevia, vanilla extract and salt to a small saucepan over low heat.
  • Whisk to combine until everything is completely dissolved.
  • Bring to a simmer and add nut milk to increase volume, if desired.
  • Remove from heat and pour into two mugs. Serve immediately.

1/2 Cup Cocoa Powder
1 Cup Powdered Allulose/Monkfruit Sweetener (see notes below for substitutions)
1/2 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream Powder
1/4 tsp. Sea Salt (optional)

Steps:

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl and use your fingers to break up any clumps or run it through a food processor. Transfer to an air-tight container or jar and store at room temperature.
  • Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of the hot chocolate mix (depending on the intensity you prefer) to a mug then pour 3/4 Cup of hot water or non-dairy milk on the top and stir. And if you want a little something extra add a small splash of pure vanilla!And don't forget to add some whipped cream or coconut whipped cream - SO YUMMY!*Note- Many coffee mugs are larger than 3/4 Cup, so you may need to measure accordingly.
