Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak is made with a rich, tangy gravy that is made in the slow cooker and is perfect for a busy family dinner!

2 lbs ground beef
1 (1 oz) envelope dry onion soup mix
1/2 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed golden mushroom soup
1 (1 oz) packet au jus gravy mix
3/4 cup water
1 small onion, chopped
6 oz package sliced mushrooms

Steps:

  • Mix together the ground beef, onion soup mix, bread crumbs and the milk. The milk helps tenderize the beef, so it gives that melt in your mouth taste.
  • Next, shape the beef into patties, then lightly dredge them in the flour. Heat up the oil and brown the patties, about 2 minutes on each side.
  • In the slow cooker, add the can soups, au jus mix, water, onions, and mushrooms, and mix it up. Place the patties into the gravy mixture, and put the slow cooker on low.
  • Let cook for 4-6 hours, finally serve them up with a side of mashed potatoes and ENJOY!

1 (1 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix
½ cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
¼ cup milk
¼ cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
1 (1 ounce) packet dry au jus mix
¾ cup water

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, onion soup mix, bread crumbs, and milk using your hands. Shape into 8 patties.
  • Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Dredge the patties in flour just to coat, and quickly brown on both sides in the hot skillet. Place browned patties into the slow cooker stacking alternately like a pyramid. In a medium bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, au jus mix, and water. Pour over the meat. Cook on the Low setting for 4 or 5 hours, until ground beef is well done.

6 ounces sliced mushrooms
½ onion (, sliced)
1 ½ cups beef broth ((low sodium))
1 ounce package brown gravy mix ((dry))
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 teaspoon dijon
2 tablespoons fresh parsley
2 tablespoons corn starch
4 tablespoons water
1 ½ pounds lean ground beef
1 egg yolk
¼ cup minced onion
⅓ cup Panko bread crumbs
3 tablespoons milk
1 clove garlic
salt & pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Place mushrooms & onions in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  • Combine beef patty ingredients and form 6 patties. Brown over medium high heat (about 3 minutes per side).
  • Layer beef patties over mushrooms. Combine remaining ingredients except water and cornstarch. Pour over beef and cook on low 5 hours.
  • Once cooked, remove patties and set aside.
  • Turn slow cooker onto high. Combine cold water and cornstarch. Stir into the broth and let cook a few minutes until thickened. Add beef back into the sauce to coat.
  • Serve over mashed potatoes or rice.

4 tablespoons butter
8 ounces mushrooms (slived)
1 onion (sliced)
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup flour
4 cups beef broth
1/2 cup cold water
16 ounce egg noodles (cooked)

Steps:

  • Form the ground beef into 6 patties. Cook slightly in a skillet until brown on both sides. Or you can use a Ninja slow cooker and brown in it.
  • Place the patties in your slow cooker.
  • Add the butter, onions, garlic, mushrooms, Worcestershire, and beef broth.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  • When finished whisk together the flour and the water.
  • Slowly stir in the crock pot.
  • Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes or until the gravy thickens.
  • Serve over cooked noodles
