CHRISTMAS CRISPIX® MIX

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C). Lightly butter a large roasting pan.
• Mix corn and rice cereal, pecans, and almonds together in the prepared roasting pan.
• Combine brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Heat to 240 degrees F (115 degrees C) or until a small amount of syrup dropped into cold water forms a soft ball that flattens when removed from the water and placed on a flat surface. Remove saucepan from heat and stir vanilla extract into syrup.
• Drizzle syrup over cereal mixture and toss to coat.
• Bake cereal mixture in the preheated oven for 30 minutes; stir and continue baking for 30 minutes more. Spread cereal mixture in 1 layer onto 2 lightly buttered baking sheets, separating any large chunks with 2 forks; allow to cool.

KELLOGG'S ORIGINAL CRISPIX MIX RECIPE

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
• Combine Kellogg's Crispix cereal, nuts and pretzels in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Set aside.
• Stir together the remaining ingredients. Pour over cereal mixture. Stir until evenly coated.
• Bake for about 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool.
• Store in airtight container.

CRISPIX SNACK MIX

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 250°F.
• Melt butter in 9x13-inch pan in oven. Remove from oven and stir in garlic powder, onion powder, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce.
• Add cereal, nuts, and pretzels stirring until coated.
• Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on absorbent paper to cool.
• Microwave directions combine ingredients as above, placing in a glass container and microwave on full power 4 minutes stirring after 2 minute
• Cool as above.

SWEET CRISPIX MIX

Steps:

• Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
• Spray a 9 X 13 pan with cooking spray.
• Break pecan halves in half.
• Mix together cereal, pretzels, and pecans in the pan.
• Melt together butter and brown sugar.
• Drizzle brown sugar mixture over cereal mixture.
• Mix all together.
• Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes.
• Stir.
• Bake an additional 8 minutes.
• Continue to stir mixture until completely cool or it will harden into one big mound.

SWEET & SALTY CRISPIX MIX

Steps:

• Mix cereal, pretzels and nuts in a large bowl, set aside. You may even want to divide this up into two bowls to make the stirring easier in the next steps.
• Boil the butter, sugar, syrup, and vanilla in a saucepan for 3 minutes.
• Pour syrup mixture over the cereal and mix until well coated.
• Spread on waxed paper on baking sheets to cool.

CRISPIX MIX® ORIGINAL

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
• Combine KELLOGG'S CRISPIX cereal, nuts, and pretzels in a 13- by 9- by 2-inch baking pan. Set aside.
• Stir together melted butter or margarine, garlic salt, onion salt, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over cereal mixture. Stir gently.
• Bake 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool. Store in airtight container.

CARAMEL CRISPIX® MIX

Steps:

• Bring butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup to a boil.
• Boil 2 minutes.
• Remove from heat and add baking soda (it will foam).
• Put the cereal in a large bowl and pour the boiled mixture over the cereal and stir to coat.
• Bake 1 hour at 200-250F degrees.
• Stir every 15 minutes.
• You may add nuts if you desire.

CRISPIX* KRISPIES* ORIGINAL MIX

Steps:

• Combine cereal, nuts and pretzels in 3.5 L (13 x 9") baking pan or roasting pan. Set aside
• Stir together remaining ingredients. Drizzle over cereal mixture, gently tossing until evenly coated.
• Bake at 120 degrees C (250 degrees F) 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool. Store in airtight container.
