5 cups Crispix® sweetened multi-grain cereal
1/2 cup walnuts, halves or pieces
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup coarsely cut, dried apple

Steps:

  • 1. Combine KELLOGG'S CRISPIX cereal and walnuts in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Pour melted margarine over cereal mixture. Stir until evenly coated. Stir together sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over cereal mixture, stirring to coat evenly.2. Bake at 250°F for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Gently stir in apples. Spread on paper towels to cool. Store in airtight container. VARIATION: Halloween Crunch: Substitute peanuts for walnuts. Stir in 1/2 cup candy corn with apples.

1 cup Kellogg's® Crispix® cereal
1 cup small pretzel twists, broken
1 cup Sunshine® Cheez-It® Original crackers
1 cup popped popcorn
1/2 cup toasted sunflower seeds
1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter

Steps:

  • 1. In large bowl combine KELLOGG'S CRISPIX cereal, pretzels, SUNSHINE CHEEZ-IT ORIGINAL crackers, popcorn, sunflower seeds, almonds, chili powder and cinnamon.
  • 2. In small saucepan cook and stir brown sugar and butter over medium-high heat until sugar dissolves. Pour over cereal mixture. Toss until well coated. Transfer to 15 x 10 x 2-inch baking pan coated with cooking spray.
  • 3. Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring every 5 minutes. Spread on foil. Cool completely. Store in airtight container.

1 cup lightly salted whole almond
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup chopped dried apple
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt-covered raisins

Steps:

  • In large microwavable bowl, mix cereal and almonds.
  • In 2-cup microwavable measuring cup, microwave butter, brown sugar, corn syrup and cinnamon uncovered on High about 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute, until mixture is boiling; stir. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated. Microwave uncovered on High 3 minutes, stirring and scraping bowl after every minute. Stir in apples; microwave uncovered on High about 2 minutes or until apples just begin to brown on edges.
  • Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool, about 5 minutes. Place in serving bowl; stir in raisins. Store in airtight container.

1 cup butter (not margarine)
2 cups brown sugar
3/4 cup light corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 box Crispix cereal

Steps:

  • Bring butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup to a boil.
  • Boil 2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and add baking soda (it will foam).
  • Put the cereal in a large bowl and pour the boiled mixture over the cereal and stir to coat.
  • Bake 1 hour at 200-250F degrees.
  • Stir every 15 minutes.
  • You may add nuts if you desire.

1 cup firmly packed golden brown sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
3 1/2 pounds Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, sliced
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) chilled unsalted butter, cut into pieces

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 450°F. Butter 13x9x2-inch glass baking dish. Combine brown sugar and cinnamon in large bowl. Add apples and toss to coat. Transfer apple mixture to prepared dish.
  • Combine flour, 1 cup sugar and butter in medium bowl. Using pastry blender or fingertips, blend ingredients until coarse meal forms. Spread flour mixture evenly over apples.
  • Bake crisp 20 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F. Bake crisp until apples are tender and topping is golden brown, about 30 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
