ORIGINAL RANCH BEEF AND NOODLE SKILLET



Original Ranch Beef and Noodle Skillet image

This recipe is very simple to prepare and tastes great. The key to this meal is the Hidden Valley Ranch dressing, which really brings out the flavor of the noodles, beef and it is a meal that everybody enjoys. Good for lunch or dinner.

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ pound freshly sliced mushrooms
¾ cup milk
1 container (8 oz.) sour cream
1 package (12 oz.) wide egg noodles dry
1 packet (1 oz.) Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix
1 pound ground beef cooked, drained
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
sliced green onions (optional)

Steps:

  • Cook noodles according to package directions and drain. In a bowl, combine the sour cream, milk, and seasoning mix and stir until smooth. In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat, add the mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes or until the mushrooms are browned. Remove the mushrooms from the skillet. Add the beef and cook stirring to break up the meat until nicely browned. Drain the beef. Add the mushrooms back to the skillet. Add the noodles,sour cream mixture, and cheese to the skillet and stir until the cheese has melted. Serve immediately.

8 ounces sour cream
½ cup milk
2 tablespoons Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Seasoning, Salad Dressing & Recipe Mix Shaker
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound ground beef

Steps:

  • In a large pot of heavily salted water, cook noodles according to package directions, drain and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, combine the sour cream, milk, and seasoning mix and stir until well blended. Set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the beef and cook, stirring to break up the meat, until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
  • Add the noodles and sour cream mixture to the skillet and stir until well combined and warmed through. Serve immediately.

2 pounds ground beef
1 pinch onion powder, or to taste
1 pinch garlic powder, or to taste
salt and ground black pepper to taste
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (10 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 (5 ounce) can evaporated milk
1 (8 ounce) package shredded mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add noodles and cook until tender, about 7 minutes. Drain.
  • Meanwhile, place ground beef into a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season with onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper; cook and stir until evenly browned, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain off grease.
  • Stir the cream cheese and cream of mushroom soup into the ground beef until well blended, about 5 minutes. Mix in the drained noodles and corn. Stir in evaporated milk to reach your desired consistency, about 5 minutes. Top with mozzarella cheese and cook until melted, about 5 minutes more.
