CREAMY HERB APPETIZER POCKETS
I combined a creamy cheese sauce and an artichoke dip to come up with these bite-size morsels. The filling is tucked into triangles made from crescent roll dough-it's the perfect no-mess appetizer! -Tina Scarpaci of Chandler, Arizona

- In a small bowl, beat the spreadable cheese, cream cheese, cream and garlic until blended. Beat in the herbs, salt, pepper and hot pepper sauce. Fold in artichokes and red peppers. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour., Unroll both tubes of crescent roll dough. On a lightly floured surface, form each tube of dough into a long rectangle; seal seams and perforations. Roll each into a 16-in. x 12-in. rectangle. Cut lengthwise into four strips and width-wise into three strips; separate squares. , Place 1 rounded tablespoon of filling in the center of each square. Fold in half, forming triangles. Crimp edges to seal; trim if necessary. Place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375° for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm. ,

CREAM CHEESE ROLL-UPS

- In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, salsa and onions until fully combined. Spread the tortillas with the mixture, leaving a 1/2-inch edge. Top each with bacon and ham, then roll into tight cylinders and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least one hour. Remove from fridge, discard the plastic wrap and cut each roll into 1-inch pieces, discarding the uneven ends (or eating them while preparing, like I did!). Each roll should yield eight pieces. If you like, before cutting, stick toothpicks in the rolls at 1-inch intervals; it makes serving a snap.

Steps:
- Mince a few herb leaves for butter sauce and set aside.
- Cut two deep bias cut slits across the width of each fillet.
- Stuff each slit with a citrus slice and herbs.
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Combine butter, garlic, citrus zest, juice and minced herbs in a small pan over high heat, and boil for 1 minute.
- Pour the butter sauce over fillets in a baking dish.
- Bake for eight to 12 minutes depending on thickness.

This is my version of an appetizer that Peninsula Grill serves in Traverse City...It is wonderful and very popular....

Steps:
- Pita Chips:.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Cut each Pita bread into 8 triangles & place on lined baking sheet.
- Brush triangles with olive oil.
- Sprinkle seasonings over chips.
- Bake for 7 to 10 minutes or until light brown, watch carefully.
- Let cook and put onto platter or dish that can go into oven.
- Artichoke Dip:.
- Combine all ingredients.
- Drop by large spoonfuls onto chips or one large one in middle.
- Sprinkle Monterey Jack cheese over all.
- Sprinkle tomato and green onion slices over top.
- Bake in 400 degree oven until cheese is melted.
- (you can just broil until cheese is melted too if you want).
- Enjoy!
