2 (5 ounce) cans solid white tuna packed in water, drained
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
⅓ teaspoon dried dill weed
3 tablespoons dried cranberries
salt

Steps:

  • Place the tuna in a bowl, and mash with a fork. Mix in mayonnaise to evenly coat tuna. Mix in dill and cranberries, and season with salt. Enjoy on crackers or the bread of your choice!

1 (6 ounce) can solid white tuna packed in water, drained
1 stalk celery, minced
1 tablespoon dill relish (or 1 small dill pickle, minced)
3 tablespoons light mayonnaise
2 tablespoons red onions, finely chopped
2 teaspoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
1/2 teaspoon dried dill
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 fat free whole wheat tortillas

Steps:

  • Combine the tuna, celery, dill relish, mayonnaise, onion, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Cover and set in refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
  • To make the wrap, spoon 1/2 cup filling into each tortilla and roll it up. Enjoy!
  • Note:.
  • You may make this to go, but you must keep the filling and the tortilla separate so the tortilla doesn't get soggy over the course of the morning. Store the filling in the fridge, so the mayonnaise doesn't spoil.

18 ounces solid white tuna packed in water, drained
1/3 cup dried sweetened cranberries
1 celery rib, finely chopped
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 hard-cooked egg white, finely chopped
12 slices whole wheat bread

Steps:

  • Combine first 5 ingredients in a bowl and stir until tuna is broken up and ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Lightly season with salt and pepper and stir again.
  • Add additional amounts of ingredients as desired.
  • Spread salad on bread.

2 tablespoons low-fat mayonnaise
1 tablespoon bottled lemon juice
1 teaspoon instant minced onion
1/4 cup craisins

Steps:

  • add lemon juice to cranberries in a separate bowl.
  • mix tuna with mayonnaise and minced onion.
  • add the cranberries & lemon to the tuna mixture (it's best if you can let this set a while before eating).
  • this can be made with fresh lemon juice and fresh onions. if you use dried unsweetened cranberries then add a bit of sugar to the mixture.

Something a little different for your tuna salad, since my mom sent me a jar of cranberry horseradish recently, and now I can't stop eating it! It's good on everything, including tuna salad. :) If you can't find it, this recipe for Recipe #186157 looks like a close approximation.

150 g mushrooms
1/4 large onion, chunked
1/2 medium carrot, roughly chopped
1/3-1/2 cup craisins, divided
120 g canned tuna in water, drained (yield of 150g can)
1 tablespoon light mayonnaise
salt and pepper
2 (10 inch) flour tortillas
1/4 cup cranberry horseradish
8 -12 leaves romaine lettuce

Steps:

  • Blitz mushrooms in food processor until they reach an almost pastelike consistency.
  • Heat mushroom paste in a dry frying pan over medium-high heat. Stir frequently until water is cooked out, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Place onion, carrot, and half of craisins into food processor. Pulse until well chopped.
  • Add tuna and mayonnaise, season with salt and pepper, then pulse until well mixed and desired texture is reached.
  • Stir in half of mushroom paste.
  • Spread tortillas with cranberry horseradish. Lay two or three leaves of lettuce on each tortilla (you may have to tear them to fit).
  • Spoon tuna salad into the middle of the tortillas. Top with remaining craisins and mushroom paste. Cover with two or three more lettuce leaves.
  • Close wraps by folding the "bottom" up and then folding the sides in, to make a long envelope shape. Turn over and serve.

1/4 cup reduced-fat Italian salad dressing
1 can (12 ounces) light water-packed tuna, drained and flaked
1/4 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise
1/4 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped green onions
6 flour tortillas (8 inches), room temperature

Steps:

4 tablespoons celery, chopped

1/4 cup dried sweetened cranberries
1/4 cup colby-monterey jack cheese, finely shredded
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
salt and pepper, to taste
6 9-inch spinach tortillas or 6 sun-dried tomato tortillas

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients.
