1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
2 teaspoons lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh dill (chopped, plus more for garnish)

Steps:

  • Add all of the ingredients to a large bowl. Stir gently to combine.
  • Serve immediately, or cover and chill for up to 2 days.
  • Sprinkle with additional chopped dill for garnish if desired.

1 pkg 1.5 lbs package of crab meat ( intimation works fine )
1/4 c ranch dressing
1/2 c mayonnaise/mayo
1 tsp dill relish
1 tsp sweet relish
pinch salt and pepper to taste
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder to taste
1/2 c chopped celery
dash(es) slap your mama or cajun spice and if you like a little some cayenne pepper

  • 1. Chop or break up your crab meat placing it into a large bowl.
  • 2. Dice your celery and toss that in with the crab meat. At this time you can add shredded cheese if you want to as I did when I made this with a extra twist.
  • 3. In a small mixing bowl put the rest if the ingredients and blend together. At this time you could add a pinch of cumin or other spices to change the flavor a bit . I have even used a little SLAP YOUR MAMA spice for a little kick .
  • 4. Pour the mixture over the crab and celery mix it all together. Refrigerate until chilled and the flavors will come together tasting like the restaurants made it.

1 pkg imitation crab meat (i prefer louis kemp)
1/2 c celery, diced fine
1-2 slice onion, diced fine
DRESSING
1/4 c ranch dressing, light
1/2 c mayonnaise, light (i like hellmans)
1 tsp sweet relish
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp dill, dried
5-6 dash(es) salt and pepper (to taste)

Steps:

  • 1. Rinse and drain the imitation crab meat. Flake into a medium bowl.
  • 2. Dice the celery and onion. Add to the crab meat.
  • 3. In a small bowl, combine the ranch dressing, mayo, relish, and garlic powder.
  • 4. Pour the dressing mixture over the crab meat and stir to mix. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, top with dill weed, then toss lightly to mix. Chill for one hour to blend flavors.
  • 5. Notes: You can substitute 1 T. dried minced onion for the fresh onion.
