BEST FOOD TO BUY AT COSTCO 2021: TOP BRANDS REVIEW

From dadongny.com
Estimated Reading Time 6 mins
  • Shelled Pistachios. Costco provides premium quality shelled peanuts from the brand ‘Kirkland’. It comes on in standard 1.5 lb (0.68 kg). These pistachios are already shelled and ready to eat.
  • Turkey Jerky. Procuring organic and genuine meat from market is a real challenge. The unique ingredients in the Kirkland turkey jerky makes it one of the best foods to buy at Costco.
  • Animal Crackers. Animal crackers are an all-time favorite of both children and adults. It comes in a 64 oz (2.42 kg) container. This organic product is a great snack for parties.
  • Rotisserie Chicken. Costco’s rotisserie chicken is special both in quantity and quality compare to normal stores. The rotisserie chicken from Costco is a complete gluten-free product that is healthy.
  • Raw Honey. Kirkland is undoubtedly the best Costco brand when it comes to organic foods. Organic raw honey is a product that is always in high demand. But customers are often misled by adulterated honey brands in the market.
  • Bacon Crumbles. Bacon crumbles are a must-have in any kitchen. It is a prefect addition to most of your home preparations. The Kirkland bacon crumbles are made from 100% real bacon.
  • Bagels. Multiple branded companies and local shops have their own version of bagels. But Kirkland bagels are among our recommendations for the best food to buy at Costco.
  • Maple Syrup. Costco offers high quality products under Kirkland, the best Costco brand for food items. Maple syrups are often adulterated with sugar syrup and similar low quality additives.
  • Muffins. Muffins from Costco stores are exceptional. The size, taste and quality stands out from the rest. That too at a cheaper price compared to any other shop.
  • Peanut Butter Pretzels. Premium pretzels nuggets filled with peanut butter is among the best foods to buy at Costco. Rich in vitamins and other essential nutrients, it is the perfect breakfast dish.

CHEAPEST BREAD - TRADER JOE'S, COSTCO, WHOLE FOODS | KITCHN

From thekitchn.com
Estimated Reading Time 4 mins
  • Bagels. Costco’s bagels are about four ounces each and cost about 50 cents. Trader Joe’s are cheaper — about 40 cents each — but slightly smaller at three ounces (which might be a good thing, depending on you or your toaster).
  • Bakery French Bread. All three stores offered a crusty loaf of artisan bread under their store label, although only the loaves from Costco and Whole Foods are baked on site.
  • Whole-Wheat Sliced Sandwich Bread. Although Costco’s big loaves are still the best bargain, it was surprising to find out that Whole Foods’ store brand sandwich bread costs the same as Trader Joe’s.
  • Sandwich Rolls. If you’re looking for long sandwich rolls, like you’d get for, say, a steak or sub sandwich, don’t go to Trader Joe’s. The bread selection just isn’t varied enough to stock a specialty item like this.
  • Hot Dog Buns. You get a ton of buns at Costco, but you better not have jumbo hot dogs to go with them. At just 1 1/2 ounces each, they’re smaller than what you get at the other stores.
  • Hamburger Buns. Once again, you can’t beat Costco’s price (although you’ve got to have room to store or people to eat all those buns). We noticed that Whole Foods’ buns were on the small side (less than 2 ounces each).

11 COSTCO PRODUCTS THAT FANS ARE ... - EAT THIS NOT THAT

From eatthis.com
Author Hedy Phillips
  • Cinnamon Pull-A-Part. Costco made the right decision in bringing back its Cinnamon Pull-A-Part after claiming it was gone for good. The ooey-gooey treat is packed with deliciousness — and sugar — and should definitely be saved for a special treat.
  • Novo Ravioli. These seasonal ravioli are flying off the shelves and will probably disappear soon, which means you need to snap them up as soon as you can!
  • Chocolate Chunk Cookies. You won't find a better deal than Costco's Chocolate Chunk Cookies. Snag a 24-pack of these treats for under $8 and feed your whole house in one go.
  • Just Bare Lightly Breaded Chicken Breast Chunks. These chicken nuggets went viral early this year and are continuing to be a popular buy at the warehouse.
  • Rotisserie Chicken. It's true! Costco's rotisserie chicken is one of the store's most popular items. These birds are simple and delicious — and cost less than $5.
  • Tipiak Pull-Apart Cheese Bread. Cinnamon-Pull-Apart isn't the only pull-apart option Costco shoppers love. Costco recently brought back the Tipiak Pull-Apart Cheese Bread to much fanfare.
  • Decadent Fudge Brownie. Basically anything you pick up from the bakery section at Costco is going to be delicious and is going to have a lot of fans. This massive fudge brownie is no different.
  • Brown Sugar Boba Ice Milk Bar. Perhaps it's because these are so hard to find or perhaps it's simply because they're delicious, but these Brown Sugar Boba Ice Milk Bars are incredibly popular with Costco fans.
  • Pizza. Costco's pizza — both in the food court and in the refrigerated section — is ridiculously popular and ridiculously delicious. Not only is it a budget-friendly food option, but it's just really tasty.
  • Coffee. Costco shoppers love turning to the warehouse aisles to pick up bags of coffee. Costco sells Starbucks products but also Kirkland products as well — which are basically the same but with a lower price tag.

9 FOODS AND GROCERY ITEMS YOU SHOULD ALWAYS BUY AT COSTCO

From cnbc.com
  • Baked goods. Costco cannot be beat for its in-house bakery treats such as pies, cakes and cheesecakes, Haugsven says, "People swear by the sheet cakes that they sell for birthdays and parties."
  • Cheese. Blocks of basic cheeses like cheddar and mozzarella are well-priced at Costco. "It's an amazing value," Haugsven says, assuming you can go through the quantity that Costco sells.
  • Chicken. Whether it's cooked or fresh, Costco has great prices on chicken. Its $5 rotisserie chicken is so popular, the company is building a brand-new production center in Nebraska to keep up with demand.
  • Frozen fruit. Especially if you're buying organic, frozen fruit can get pricey. Not at Costco. "The prices really can't be beat at Costco for the organic frozen fruit," Haugsven says.
  • Olive oil. If you use olive oil on a regular basis, check out Costco's organic, extra virgin olive oil. "It's really good quality at a really good price," John Karolefski, grocery store analyst and editor of Grocery Stories, tells CNBC Make It.
  • Maple syrup. A "big cult item" is Costco's Kirkland organic pure maple syrup, Haugsven says. Costco sells a 33.8-ounce bottle for $12.79. This is an especially good value because coupons for, or sales on, pure and/or organic maple syrup are rare, according to the Krazy Coupon Lady.
  • Snack foods. Snack foods are generally cheaper at Costco when the store offers coupons for them, Haugsven says: "They won't tell you the prices, they'll just say $3 off Cheez-Its, and then you go into the store and you'll usually get a great deal on those items."
  • Vanilla. One of the best deals at Costco is on vanilla extract, Demer says. Costco sells its Kirkland pure vanilla extract for $26.99 for a 16-fluid ounce bottle and "it's the good stuff," she says.
  • Wine. "The wine is absolutely one of the best deals," Demer says. "Any time there's any comparison of store brands' quality, Trader Joe's and Costco are always at the top."

WHY COSTCO FOOD COURT'S CHICKEN BAKES ARE SO DELICIOUS
If you're a Costco food court connoisseur, you're no doubt familiar with their amazingly delicious pizza offerings. Whether you get cheese, pepperoni, or combo, you know that each slice is going to be served up with the same perfect crust every time — not too heavy, just the right amount of chew. And that perfect crust is the same dough that's used to make the …
