HOW TO COOK CORNISH HEN IN AIR FRYER (SUPER EASY)
This air fryer cornish game hen recipe is super easy to make with so much flavor, and the inside is juicy, making it the perfect main dish for a special occasion or weeknight dinner.

Steps:
- Preheat the air fryer to 380º F for 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl, combine the onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, rosemary, and thyme; set aside.
- Pat dry the cornish hen with a paper towel. Rub olive oil all over the Cornish hen, season with salt and pepper to taste, including the cavity, then rub the spices blend all over the bird, including the cavity and underneath the skin.
- Place the cornish game hen in the air fryer basket and cook to 380ºF for 20 minutes breast side down and 10 minutes breast side up. The cornish hen should reach 165ºF.
- Let the cooked Cornish hen rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Enjoy

This is my basic recipe for no-fail air fryer Cornish hens. I use the Tyson® brand Cornish because they are two pounds a piece and perfect for two people once the bones are discarded. Reduce cooking time if using smaller hens. Feel free to use your favorite herbs and spices to change things up.

Steps:
- Preheat an air fryer to 390 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Pat Cornish hen dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper on all sides.
- Place hen in the basket of the air fryer and cook for 15 minutes. Spray the top of the hen with nonstick cooking spray and cook for 15 minutes more. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
- Transfer the hen to a cutting board and let rest for 10 minutes. Carve and serve.
