Cherry Winks have been in my family for over fifty years. We bake them for all "important" occations. They look pretty and taste great. I'm not sure where the recipe orginated but I remember one of my friend's grandmother making them eons ago.

CHERRY WINK COOKIES
My husband was at a client's house and she served these to him. He loved them and asked her for the recipe so I could make them. Neither of us like dates or cherries, but we love these cookies.

CHERRY WINKS
A delicious cookie made with cherries, dates, and pecans all rolled together in Kellogg's Special K cereal. I make them every Christmas. They look nice in a cookie exchange.
