Facebook Clean Eating This fudge will literally melt in your mouth! Here are 2 variations but you can experiment with different nut butters or nuts to come up with your own favourite flavour combinations.Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge (shown in picture on the left) 1/2 cup natural peanut butter (we used crunchy) 1/4 cup cacao 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted 2 tablespoons honey or rice malt syrup (more if you want sweeter) 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

1/2 cup almond butter or 1/2 cup cashew nut butter
1/4 cup cacao
1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
2 tablespoons honey (more if you want sweeter) or 2 tablespoons rice malt syrup (more if you want sweeter)
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1/3 cup macadamia nuts

Steps:

  • Line a small plastic container with plastic cling wrap so that the plastic overhangs off the edges of the container (this will make the fudge easier to remove from the container).
  • 2. Place all ingredients (except the macadamia nuts) in a food processor and process until smooth and well combined. Stir through the macadamia nuts.
  • 3. Place the fudge in the plastic container and smooth the top.
  • 4. Place the container in the freezer for 20 minutes or until it hardens.
  • 5. Once the fudge hardens remove from the container and cut into bit size pieces.
  • 6. Place the fudge in the fridge and keep refrigerated until ready to serve as it melts easily.

Creamy, rich peanut butter fudge made with 4 ingredients! Naturally sweetened, healthy, and ready in 30 minutes! The perfect plant-based dessert.

2 cups desiccated (finely shredded) unsweetened coconut
1 cup creamy peanut butter ((best ingredients: just peanuts + salt))
1/2 cup melted coconut oil
3-5 Tbsp maple syrup ((or other sweetener of choice, i.e. stevia))
1 pinch sea salt ((optional // depending on saltiness of PB))
1 tsp pure vanilla extract ((optional))
Crushed peanuts
Coconut flakes

Steps:

  • Line a standard 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper (as original recipe is written // adjust size/number of pans if altering batch size). Set aside.
  • To a food processor, add desiccated coconut and blend on high until a creamy butter is formed - about 4 minutes. Scrape down sides as needed.
  • Then add peanut butter and melted coconut oil and mix once more. Then add maple syrup 1 Tbsp (15 ml) at a time until desired sweetness is reached. If you add too much maple syrup, the mixture can seize up and get thick. If that happens, thin with a bit more melted coconut oil.
  • Optional: Add sea salt and vanilla and mix once more. Taste and adjust flavors as needed, adding more salt or vanilla for overall flavor or maple syrup or stevia for sweetness.
  • Transfer mixture to lined loaf pan and spread into an even layer. You can add crushed peanuts or coconut flakes on top, but I chose not to.
  • Freeze until firm - about 15 minutes. Then use a hot knife to slice into even squares - about 21 (amount as original recipe is written // adjust if altering batch size). Enjoy immediately and store leftovers in the refrigerator up to 10 days or in the freezer up to 1 month. If frozen, let soften at room temperature for 5-10 minutes for best texture/flavor.

1/2 cup coconut butter ((may need to be warmed slightly. NOT melted, warmed.))
1/2 cup honey
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp. bourbon vanilla extract ((regular extract works too))
4 tsp. orange extract
1 tbsp. orange zest
1 tsp. good quality mint extract ((Get good quality extract. It makes all the difference))

Steps:

  • Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix with a wooden spoon until well combined.
  • Place in a small (usually square) dish and place in the fridge to firm. (The Tupperware dish I used measured 5-1/2 X 5-1/2 inches.)
  • Chill for 2 hours, then cut. These are rich, so cut them small. I cut mine 6 times in both directions. (approximately 3/4" squares)
  • Note: If you'd like to make both flavors, double the base recipe. When mixed, divide in half and add your flavoring.

4-ingredients clean fudge recipe ready in 30 minutes and demolished even quicker. If you are new to fudge, it's not as difficult as you'd think.

3/4 cup smooth peanut butter (or any other nut butter or tahini)
2 tablespoon maple syrup (or any other liquid healthy sweetener)
3 tablespoon coconut oil, melted or cacao butter, melted (I used Coconut Merchant coconut oil)
Pinch of salt
Optional
Raw chocolate sauce:
1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
1 teaspoon maple syrup
2 tablespoon cocoa powder or 1tbsp raw cacao

Steps:

  • Add all the ingredients in a bowl and combine well together. Pop in the microwave for a few seconds if you need help to soften it up.
  • Pour the mixture evenly into a small freezer friendly dish
  • Place in the freezer for 30 minutes or until set.
  • Once set turn the dish over and tap to release the fudge. Slice it up and set aside.
  • Make the chocolate sauce by mixing all the ingredients together and drizzle over the fudge
