- Spray grill with cooking spray. Preheat grill for 6 minutes.
- In a medium shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla. Soak slices of bread in egg mixture.
- Place slices of bread on the grill. Close lid and cook 4 minutes or until done. Repeat with remaining bread.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon before serving with butter and syrup.

- Combine milk, sugar, eggs, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, and salt and mix until blended.
- Cut bread into 3/4 inch slices.
- Dip in milk/egg mixture long enough to soak through.
- Place a hot skillet with the melted butter or oil and fry until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove from pan and roll in confectioners' sugar mixed with the remaining cinnamon.
- Serve with syrup and butter.

- Preheat an oven to 200 degrees F, and place a rack on a sheet pan.
- Whisk the milk and eggs in a glass pie or casserole dish until evenly combined.
- Whisk the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add about 1/2 a tablespoon of butter to the skillet, swirling the pan to coat the surface. Dip 2 slices of bread into the egg mixture and immediately lay in the skillet. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar on top and cook until the undersides are brown and crisp, about 4 minutes. Add a nut-sized bit of butter to the skillet, as needed, and flip the toast, cook until golden on the underside, about 3 minutes more.
- Serve immediately or transfer to the rack in the oven to keep warm. Repeat with the remaining bread and batter. Serve with jam or maple syrup.

- In a large mixing bowl add eggs, milk, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and salt. Whisk until everything is combined.
- Take 1 slice of bread and spread a little less than a tablespoon of butter on top. Sprinkle with a couple teaspoons brown sugar, just enough to cover the slice of bread. Top with another slice of toast and cut into four. Repeat with the remaining bread. Place in a buttered 13x9 baking dish.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread. Cover and refrigerate for 2-3 hours or overnight. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35-40 minutes or until top is golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and/or maple syrup.
