- With an electric mixer or stand-up mixer, mix flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, milk, eggs, and vanilla. Once combined well, slowly stir in 4 tablespoons melted butter. Pour batter into a greased 9x13" baking pan. In a large bowl, mix the 2 sticks of softened butter, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nuts until well combined. Drop evenly over cake batter by the tablespoon and use a knife to marble/swirl through the cake. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick comes out nearly clean from center. Place powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla in a large bowl. Whisk until smooth. Drizzle over warm cake. Serve warm (we like it straight out of the oven) or at room temperature.

This is a cover recipe for Cinnabon's World Famous Cinnamon Rolls. I have made some adjustments to the recipe. They taste just like Cinnabon.

- Rolls: In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in the warm milk. Stir. Add the sugar. Stir. Add the melted butter, salt and eggs. Stir well. Gradually add the flour and mix well.
- Knead the dough about 5 - 10 minutes. Form into a ball. Lightly dust the dough with flour. Place dough in a bowl, cover it with a damp towel and let it rise in a warm place for about an hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven at 400 degrees.
- Roll the dough on lightly floured surface with a rolling pin. Roll flat until about ¼ inch thick, approximately 21 inches long, 16 inches wide.
- Filling: Combine brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Spread softened butter over the entire surface of the dough. Sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar mixture even over the dough. Spread with your hands until dough is completely covered with the mixture. Roll the dough up as tightly as possible. You should get about 3 - 5 rings. Cut dough into 1 ¾ inch slices. Place slices into 9 x 13 pans lined with parchment paper. You can only do 6 in each pan. Let rise for about a half hour.
- Icing: Blend softened butter and cream cheese in a bowl. Add the vanilla, whole milk. Blend. Gradually add the powdered sugar until icing is smooth and fluffy. Place in refrigerator until you are ready to spread it on the cinnamon rolls.
- Bake cinnamon rolls for about 10 minutes. Watch them as some ovens cook quicker than others. They will be golden brown when they are done. Let them cool about 10 minutes, then coat them generously with icing. If you are making them the day before you serve them, let them cool completely and then spread the icing on. Heat the cinnamon roll for about 15 - 20 seconds in the microwave.

- 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and prepare a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray with flour. In a medium bowl, sift together flour, salt, and baking powder.
- 2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
- 3. Alternate adding the flour mixture and buttermilk to the butter mixture. Mix well; this batter will be thick.
- 4. Mix in vanilla.
- 5. Spread this mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- 6. Mix together the topping, 1 1/2 sticks of butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and flour.
- 7. Drop spoonfuls of the topping on the cake.
- 8. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30-35 minutes. Check on it near the end to make sure the oven temps are the same. A toothpick inserted should come out of the cake part mostly clean.
- 9. When it comes out of the oven, mix the topping ingredients.
- 10. Drizzle topping over warm cake. Let sit for a few minutes to soak it in.

- For the dough, gently heat the milk and butter until the butter has just melted. Leave to cool until just warm to the touch (it shouldn't be hot). Tip the flour into a large bowl with the yeast, cinnamon, sugar and a pinch of salt. Pour in the warm butter and milk mixture along with the egg, then combine with your hands until a dough forms. Tip the dough out onto a floured surface, and knead for about 10 mins until springy. Alternatively, you can do this in a stand mixer fitted with a dough hook - the dough will only require about 5 mins of kneading using this method. Bring the dough together into a ball, then place in an oiled bowl. Cover with a clean tea towel and leave to rise for about 1 hr, or until doubled in size.
- Meanwhile, beat the filling ingredients with a small pinch of salt using an electric whisk until completely combined. Set aside. Butter a 20cm springform or loose-bottomed cake tin. Tip the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead briefly to knock the air out. Leave to rest for a few minutes, then roll out to a 30 x 50cm rectangle, and lay it on the surface so the short edge is facing you. Spread over the filling so the dough rectangle is completely covered. Cut the dough into four strips down the length. Roll the first strip up into a tight spiral from the short end, then place the spiral at the short end of the second strip and roll this up into a spiral around the first. Place this larger spiral at the short end of the third strip and roll up again, then repeat with the final strip of dough. You should end up with one large cinnamon bun. Transfer to the prepared tin, cover with a clean tea towel and leave to rise for 45 mins-1 hr, or until it has risen by about a third.
- Heat the oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Put the cake tin on a baking tray and bake for 50 mins-1 hr until puffed up, golden and cooked through. Meanwhile, combine the icing sugar, vanilla and 3 tbsp water until you have a loose icing that can be drizzled. Leave the bun to cool in the tin for 10 mins, then remove from the tin, drizzle with the icing and leave to cool completely on a wire rack. Serve in slices, or let everyone pull it apart. Will keep in an airtight container for two days.

- Preheat oven to 350° degrees F. Liberally spray a 9x13 light metal rectangular baking pan with cooking spray; set aside.
- For the cake: In a large bowl, combine all of the cake batter ingredients except for the melted butter. Slowly add in the melted butter until fully combined. Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan. Set aside.
- For the filling: In a medium bowl, beat together the softened butter, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon together until moistened.
