2 pechugas de pòllo ,6 papas grandes, 1 barra de queso crema philladelphia de kraft de 8 oz, cebollin, pimenton , ajies, apio españa, cilantro (al gusto) 1 cabeza de ajos, cebolla, 1/2 taza de leche liquida, queso blanco prensado.

Steps:

  • cocinar las pechugas de pollo en 2 tazas de agua, agregarle el pimenton, ajies, cebollin, apio españa, ajos,cebolla, cebollin,cilantro, agregarle la sal. dejar cocinar bien las pechugas.
  • cuando esten listas sacarlas y esmecharlas dejarlas a un lado.
  • luego se cuela el consome, se agrega el pollo esmechado y las papas en cuadros pequeños dejar que ablanden, se licuan las verduritas (pimenton, ajo, cebollin etc. etc.) y se le agrega al consome.
  • aparte se licua el queso crema philadelphia de kraft con la 1/2 taza de leche y se deja aparte.
  • cuando las papas esten blandas se agrega la mezcla del queso crema philadelphia de kraft se revuelve por 5 mn. y se apaga,
  • se le agrega cilantro picadito.disfrutenlo es muy rico a mi familia le encanta

The Venezuelan version of chicken noodle soup, I still make it every time I have a cold... and my foster kids beg me to make more!

¼ cup butter
1 large onion, chopped
3 russet potatoes, peeled and diced
3 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, diced
8 cups water
2 cups frozen corn
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
½ cup milk, or to taste
4 (1 ounce) pieces mozzarella cheese sticks, coarsely chopped

Steps:

  • Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add potatoes and onion. Cook, stirring constantly, until tender but not brown, about 5 minutes. Increase heat to medium-high and add chicken. Cook until chicken is white, 7 to 10 minutes. Add water and bring to a simmer. Add corn and bring soup to a simmer again.
  • Season soup with salt and pepper. Add milk and mozzarella cheese.

  • Remove 1 chile and 1 teaspoon adobo sauce from can; reserve remaining chiles and sauce for another use. Finely chop chile; set chile and sauce aside separately.
  • Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat. Add chopped chile, onion, and next 6 ingredients (through garlic); cook 7 minutes or until onion is tender, stirring frequently. Stir in broth; bring to a boil. Add chicken; cover, reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer 30 minutes or until chicken is tender. Remove chicken with a slotted spoon, and cool slightly. Shred chicken with 2 forks; cover and keep warm.
  • Remove pan from heat; let stand 5 minutes. Place one-third of broth mixture in a blender; process until smooth. Pour pureed broth mixture into a large bowl. Repeat procedure in two more batches with remaining broth mixture. Return pureed broth mixture to pan. Stir in potatoes and hominy; bring to a simmer over medium heat. Cook, uncovered, 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Stir in chicken and cream; simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat, and stir in reserved adobo sauce, tomato, cilantro, and salt. Serve with lime wedges.
