Chocolate dipped strawberries are a perfect dessert you can make in minutes and that everyone will love. This easy to make treat is sure to please everyone!

12 strawberries
1/2 cup chocolate bark
1/2 cup almond bark
2 tablespoon crushed peppermint candy
2 tablespoon sprinkles

Steps:

  • Wash the strawberries and then let dry completely.
  • In microwave safe bowls, melt the chocolate in 30-second increments. I used white chocolate and milk chocolate.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set out any sprinkles or toppings desired for convenience.hoco
  • Dip each strawberry coating the bottom and sides and leaving only the top stem uncovered.
  • Place each strawberry on the parchment paper and sprinkle with your chosen toppings.
  • Let harden then enjoy!

These strawberries are made from strawberry flavored gelatin, coconut and colored sugar crystals.

2 (6 ounce) packages strawberry flavored Jell-O®
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
2 cups flaked coconut
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
½ cup red decorator sugar
¼ cup green decorator sugar
2 ounces slivered almonds

Steps:

  • Blend together the gelatin and condensed milk. Add coconut and vanilla; mix well and refrigerate until chilled.
  • Roll into small balls and shape into strawberries; roll in red sugar crystals.
  • Dip fat end into green sugar crystals. Place an almond sliver into the fat end for a stem. To prevent hardening, store in an air tight container until ready to serve.

24 -30 strawberries, green caps in tact
6 ounces chocolate, coarsely chopped (your favorite chocolate or what is on hand, can use sweet, semisweet, bittersweet or white)

Steps:

  • Rinse strawberries, drying them with paper towels.
  • Melt chocolate in top of double boiler or in microwave (full power in 30 second intervals, until chocolate is melted, stirring often).
  • Note 1: CHOCOLATE SHOULD NOT BE TOO HOT - IF IT GETS TOO HOT IT WILL DRIP ON THE BERRIES INSTEAD OF ADHERING TO THE BERRIES.
  • Note 2: BE CAREFUL--OVER HEATING CHOCOLATE MAY CAUSE SCORCHING AND KEEP IT FROM BLENDING PROPERLY.
  • Insert toothpick into stem end of strawberry and dip 3/4 of berry into chocolate, leaving green cap and some of the red berry showing.
  • Spear free end of toothpick into a piece of Styrofoam or grapefruit to allow strawberry to dry upside down (alternatively dry strawberries on waxed paper).
  • Note 3: If chocolate becomes too thick to work with reheat chocolate gently.
  • Note 4: After chocolate hardens dip tip of berry into contrasting melted chocolate.
  • After the chocolate hardens discard toothpicks.
  • These berries are best if eaten within 24 hours, for longer storage refrigerate but serve at room temperature.

16 oz strawberries
1 bar (8 oz baking white chocolate)
1/4 cup green sugar sprinkles

Steps:

  • Wash the strawberries and dry thoroughly by blotting with the paper towels. The strawberries must be completely dry in order for the coating to stick.
  • Line a large plate with parchment paper, this will be the plate for the dipped strawberries.
  • Break the white chocolate baking bar into small pieces and put into a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on Low (Defrost) for 1 minute, then stir with a spoon. If not completely melted, keep microwaving and stirring in 30 second increments until the white chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
  • Put the green sugar on a small plate.
  • Grab one strawberry by the green stem, then carefully lower into melted white chocolate.
  • Lift the strawberry out of chocolate and dip into a green sugar.
  • Put the strawberry on parchment paper.
  • Repeat with the remaining strawberries.
  • Refrigerate the chocolate covered strawberries for 20 minutes for the white chocolate to set.

100g dark chocolate , roughly chopped
400g strawberries
30g white and milk chocolate , roughy chopped (optional)

Steps:

  • Cut a strip of baking parchment and leave to one side. To melt the dark chocolate, fill a small pan with 2cm water and bring to a simmer. Put the chocolate in a heatproof bowl and rest it on top of the pan, ensuring the bowl isn't touching the water. Stir the chocolate to gradually melt it. Or, melt the chocolate in 20 second blasts in the microwave, stirring after each blast until melted. Put the melted chocolate in a small deep bowl.
  • Gently hold the strawberries by the leafy top and dip into the chocolate. Tap off any excess chocolate and put on the parchment to set. If you have any leftover chocolate, pour it onto another strip of parchment and leave it to set, it can be used again.
  • If you'd like to decorate the strawberries, melt the white and milk chocolate and drizzle lightly over the fruit.

1 quart fresh strawberries
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 teaspoon shortening
1/2 cup white chocolate wafers
coconut or candy sprinkles, etc

Steps:

  • Wash strawberries and allow to dry completely.
  • Place the chocolate chips and shortening in a microwave safe container and heat on high for about 1 minute or until melted and smooth when stirred.
  • Place the white chocolate coating wafers in another microwave safe container and heat on high for about 1 minute or until melted and smooth when stirred.
  • Holding by the leaves, dip half the strawberries in the chocolate mixture and half in the white chocolate. Allow excess to drip off.
  • Place on wax paper and sprinkle with chopped nuts or coconut or sprinkles or drizzle with the opposite color or chocolate.
  • Allow to harden. (I place mine in the frig and they are ready in about 30 minutes).
  • Place in foil cups if desired.
  • Serve that day or place in the refrigerator for storage for a day or two.
