CHOCOLATE CHIP TOFFEE BANANA BREAD
This rich chocolate and toffee filled banana bread is a sweet treat that comes together in no time!

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease two 8 1/2 x 4 1/2-inch loaf pans thoroughly or line with parchment. Alternatively, line 24 muffin cups with paper liners and spray the liners very lightly with nonstick spray. In a mixing bowl, combine the butter and sugar, and beat with a mixer until smooth. Add the vanilla and eggs, and beat until smooth. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda , salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, beating just until they're combined. Add the bananas and sour cream, and stir just until they're combined Stir in 3/4 cup of chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of toffee chips. Pour the mixture into the prepared pans or muffin tins. Sprinkle with the reserved chocolate chips and toffee chips. Bake the full-sized loaf pans for 55-60 minutes and the muffins for 20-22 minutes, until a inserted toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Let the loaves cool completely before sliding a knife around the edge of the pan to loosen and then remove to a plate or wire rack. Add the bananas and sour creams, and stir until they're combined. Stir in 3/4 cup of chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of toffee chips. Pour the mixture into the prepared pans or muffin tins. Sprinkle with the reserved chocolate chips and toffee chips. Bake the full-sized loaf pans for 55-60 minutes.

CHOCOLATE CHIP BREAD PUDDING
The hawaiian bread used in this recipe makes this one a keeper! You can drizzle a rum toffee sauce over it or a chocolate sauce over it right before serving. I prefer the chocolate sauce. I posted the recipes for both great sauces. I hope you enjoy this recipe.

- Preheat oven to 350 degree's. Lightly grease a 13x9 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, place bread crumbs.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together 1 1/2 cups cream, milk, 1 cup sugar, butter and eggs; add to bread crumbs, stirring to combine. Let stand for 15 minutes. Stir in chocolate and pecans. Spoon mixture into prepared baking dish. Drizzle with remaining 1/2 cup cream, and sprinkle with remaining 2 tablespoons sugar; bake for 1 hour, or until center is set.
- Serve warm with either Rum toffee sauce or Chocolate Sauce.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 deg F.
- Mix all ingredients together except nuts and chips in a mixer.
- Stir in nuts and chips.
- Grease loaf pans.
- Pour mixture in pans.
- Bake for about 1 hour.
- Test with a tooth pick to see if done.
- Will come out clean unless a chip is hit when done.
- Hint: If banana are getting to ripe and you do not nave the time to make the bread at this time.
- Put the bananas in your freezer unpealed to use later.

- Lightly grease the bottom only of a 9 1/4 by 5 1/4 by 2 3/4 inch loaf pan.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In large mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
- Add butter, eggs and bananas and blend well on medium speed of mixer.
- Stir in small chocolate chips and walnuts.
- Bake at 350 for 60 to 65 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan.
- Cool completely.

- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan, preferably glass.
- Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Stir bananas, milk, and cinnamon in another bowl. Beat butter and sugar in a third bowl until light and fluffy. - Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a loaf pan or press parchment paper into it so the bread won't stick if you want to take it out of the pan. Set aside.

- Position a rack in the center of the oven. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 9-by-5-inch loaf pan with nonstick spray.
- Toss the toffee bits, walnuts, and chocolate chips together in a small bowl. Remove 3 tablespoons of the mixture and set aside for the top of the loaf.
- Whisk the flour, baking soda, and salt together in a medium bowl. Stir in the larger amount of toffee, chip, and nut mixture until thoroughly coated. Whisk the eggs, brown sugar, sugar, banana, and oil together in a larger bowl. Add the dry ingredients to the wet and fold together just until combined. Scrape into the prepared pan. Sprinkle the remaining toffee, chip, and nut mixture evenly over top.
- Bake for about 60 to 70 minutes or just until a toothpick tests clean. Cool on a rack for 30 minutes, then unmold and cool completely. Best sliced with a serrated knife. May be stored at room temperature up to 3 days wrapped airtight in plastic wrap. May be frozen, well wrapped, up to 1 month. Defrost overnight in refrigerator.
