SWEET CHICKEN BACON WRAPS (PAULA DEEN)
Hey you Paula Deen fans, she has a new magazine, "Cooking with Paula Deen"--this recipe is from the premier issue. It was so yummy looking, I couldn't wait to try it. I added another 15 minutes to the cooking time suggested (30-35 minutes) and It was just right, but oven temperatures vary, so check on it during the last few minutes of cooking time. I'm also going to add a few dashes of cayenne pepper next time for something hot and sweet!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cut chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes.
- Cut each bacon slice into thirds. Wrap each chicken cube with bacon and secure with a wooden pick inserted on the diagonal starting where bacon seam overlaps.
- Stir together brown sugar and chili powder. Dredge wrapped chicken in mixture.
- Coat a rack and broiler pan with non-stick cooking spray. Place chicken on rack in broiler pan.
- Bake at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes, or until bacon is crisp.
WARREN'S CHICKEN BITES
Trisha wraps chicken tenders stuffed with cream cheese in bacon for an easy one-bite appetizer.

- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Top each piece of chicken with 1 teaspoon cream cheese and 1/4 teaspoon chopped jalapeno. Roll up each filling-covered chicken piece and wrap with 1 slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick. Transfer to a baking sheet and place in the oven for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
CHICKEN WRAPPED IN BACON APPETIZERS

Steps:
- Start by heating your broiler.
- Mix 2 Tablespoons of honey mustard with the Worcestershire sauce for a quick marinade.
- Cut the chicken into 24 pieces and place it in the marinade.
- Slice the bacon into thirds, making 24 pieces.
- Cut the cheese into 12 slices, and cut each in half, making 24 pieces.
- Take the chicken pieces out of marinade one by one and wrap them with small slices of bacon and secure with toothpicks. Discard marinade.
- Broil the bacon wrapped chicken bites four inches from heat for 10 minutes or until bacon is crisp and chicken is cooked through, turning after 5 minutes.
- Remove toothpicks and place crackers on a baking sheet.
- Turn off the broiler and set the oven to 350°
- Top each cracker with cheese. Bake 4 to 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
- Top each cheesy cracker with chicken.
- Add a little dollop of honey mustard on top of the bacon, and sprinkle with parsley.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 F degrees.
- Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil, this will save you from having to scrub your baking sheet. Place a cookie rack on top the baking sheet. I used a cookie rack here. Place the sugar in a shallow plate.
- Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
- Depending on your bacon how thin or thick it is, cut each slice in either half or 3 pieces. I cut mine into 3. Wrap each piece of chicken with a piece of bacon. There is no need for toothpicks, the bacon will stick to the chicken. Roll the wrapped chicken into the brown sugar and make sure each piece is nicely coated in the brown sugar.
- Place chicken pieces on the prepared baking sheet and season again with more salt and pepper.
- Bake for about 45 minutes or until bacon is nice and crisp.
- Garnish with parsley, so that it looks pretty.

- In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until cooked but not crisp. Remove to paper towels to drain. Flatten chicken to 1/8-in. thickness. Spread with cream cheese; sprinkle with garlic and salt. Top with chilies. Roll up from a long side; tuck ends in. , Wrap three bacon strips around each piece of chicken; secure with toothpicks. Place in a greased 1-qt. baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 35-40 minutes or until chicken juices run clear and bacon is crisp. Discard toothpicks before serving.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Clean each chicken breast and cut into 4 pieces.
- Wrap each piece of chicken with 1 strip of bacon (you can use a toothpick but it is not necessary if you tuck the bacon into itself).
- Place each wrapped chicken piece into your pan (I generally spray mine with a cooking spray so it is easier to clean after).
- Sprinkle the tops of each piece with the brown sugar.
- Top each piece with a pineapple chunk or 2 and pour the juice and remaining pineapple into the pan for the chicken to cook inches.
- Place in oven and cook for 30-45 minutes depending on the thickness of your chicken pieces.
- Serve with rice or pasta & enjoy!

- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
- Pound the chicken breasts until flat. Put a slice of cream cheese and 1 teaspoon chopped chives in the middle of each breast and roll up. Wrap each rolled breast with 1 slice of bacon and secure with toothpicks. Place in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
