- 1. Blanch dried lotus seeds (see HOW-TO: _Almonds: To blanch). 2. Slice chicken and mushrooms. Mince ham. Shell peas.3. Bring stock to a boil. Add lotus seeds, chicken, mushrooms and sugar.
