Cheesy Crock Pot Reuben Soup Food

REUBEN SOUP

Steps:

• In a large saucepan, cook onion and celery in butter until tender; stir in flour until smooth. Gradually stir in water and bouillon, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, and simmer for 5 minutes.
• Stir in corned beef, sauerkraut, cream, and 1 cup of the cheese. Cook and stir for 30 minutes or until slightly thickened.
• Preheat broiler.
• Ladle soup into 8 ovenproof bowls. Top each serving with a slice of bread and sprinkle 1/4 cup of the cheese on top of each slice of bread. Place in oven under broiler until the cheese melts and lightly browns.

CHEESY CAULIFLOWER SOUP (CROCK POT/SLOW COOKER)

Steps:

• Put cauliflower, onion, celery and chicken stock in crockpot.
• Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
• Puree in blender.
• Return to crockpot and blend in cream, worcestershire and cheese.
• Add salt and pepper to taste.
• Stir to mix.

CHEESY CROCK POT REUBEN SOUP

Steps:

• Chop onion and celery. Transfer to Crock-Pot. Stir in broth and baking soda. Combine cornstarch and water and add to Crock-Pot. Stir in sauerkraut, milk, and corned beef. Cover and cook on High 4 to 5 hours. Stir in cheese and cook 30 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Serve. Garnish with croutons if desired.

EASY CHEESY CROCK POT POTATO SOUP (SLOW COOKER)

Steps:

• Put chicken broth, potatoes, salt and pepper in crock pot.
• Cook on high for 4 hours or until potatoes are soft.
• Mash the potatoes to desired consistency.
• Add milk and cheese and blend.
• Cook on high until cheese melts.

CHEESY REUBEN APPETIZER (BETTY CROCKER)

Steps:

• Heat oven to 400°F.
• Mix cream cheese, 1 cup of the Swiss cheese, the dressing and corned beef. Spread in pie plate, 9x1 1/4 inches, or quiche dish, 9x1 1/2 inches. Top with sauerkraut and remaining 1/2 cup Swiss cheese. (Cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours if desired.).
• Bake about 15 minutes or until bubbly around edge.
• Garnish with chives and radishes.
• Serve hot with pretzel crackers or cocktail bread.
