- Cut pastry sheet in half. Repackage and refrigerate one half for another use. On a lightly floured surface, roll out remaining half into an 8-in. circle. Transfer to a 7-in. pie plate; flute edges., In a large bowl, combine the apples, 1 tablespoon sugar and cinnamon; place in crust. In a small bowl, combine the flour, walnuts, raisins, butter, egg and remaining sugar; spoon over top. Bake at 350° for 50-55 minutes or until topping is golden brown and fruit is tender, covering edges with foil to prevent overbrowning if necessary. Cool on a wire rack.

- Mix apples, 2/3 cup sugar, tapioca, cinnamon, nutmeg and water in large saucepan. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to full boil. Pour into 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with raisins. Dot with 2 Tbsp. of the butter.
- Cut remaining butter into flour, 2 Tbsp. sugar, baking powder and salt until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk until soft dough forms. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto hot apple mixture.
- Bake at 375°F for 30 minutes or until topping is golden. Serve warm.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Combine apples, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a saute pan.
- Bring to a boil, then simmer until sugar is melted, about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Pour apples and sauce into a 9x13 inch oven-safe pan that has been sprayed with non-stick spray.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, 1 cup granulated sugar, whole milk, and vanilla. (It should be the consistency of pancake batter. Add 1 or 2 tablespoons milk if necessary.)
- Carefully pour batter over the apples in the casserole dish.
- Evenly sprinkle 1 cup brown sugar over the top.
- And then carefully pour 1 and 1/2 cup hot water over the mixture.
- Bake at 350 degrees 50 to 55 minutes or until cobbler is set in the center and golden brown on top.
- Serve warm or room temperature. It's great with vanilla ice cream.
- Store in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days. (It won't last that long)

- 1. preheat oven to 350, butter a 13x9 cake pan, set aside.
- 2. pour apple pie filling into pan, if your not making your own filling, use 2 16oz cans from store.
- 3. pour the DRY cake mix over the pie filling.

- Preheat oven to 350 F (175 degree C).
- In a medium size bowl, toss apples with sugar, flour, cinnamon, lemon juice, and water; spread evenly into a 8x8 inch pan. In another bowl, mix together flour, brown sugar, oats, and butter; spoon mixture evenly over apples.

- 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- 2. In a bowl, cream butter, shortening and brown sugar until fluffy.
- 3. Add flour, oats, salt and baking soda; mix well. Stir in nuts, if desired. Set aside 1 ½ cups of the mixture.
- 4. Press the remaining mixture into an ungreased 11-in. x 8-in. baking pan.
- 5. Sprinkle the dried fruit over the oatmeal mixture, and place the apples on top.

- Heat oven to 200C/fan 180C/gas 6. Put the apples into a saucepan with a splash of water, cover, then cook over a high heat for 4-5 mins, stirring now and then until just soft. - In a saucepan, bring the heavy cream, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, the brandy, 2 tablespoons butter, the vanilla and 1/2 teaspoon salt to a boil, whisking.

- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees and pull out a 9 by 13 baking dish .
- Combine your apple slices, 1 tsp cinnamon and 2 TBSPs granulated white sugar in a large sauce pan over medium low heat. Cook the apples, stirring regularly until they are soft, about 10 minutes.
- While the apples are cooking down, combine 1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup (one stick) unsalted butter, 1/4 cup heavy cream in a small sauce pan over medium heat. Stir consistently until the mixture begins to boil. Continue stirring for another minute or so until it is smooth, remove from the heat.
- Pour the 1/2 cup melted butter into the baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together 1 cup sugar, 1 cup flour, 2 tsps baking powder, and 1/4 tsp salt. Whisk in 1 cup milk and 2 tsps vanilla extract. Pour the mixture over the butter and whisk in gently.
