CAN'T FAIL DIVINITY

Can't Fail Divinity image

My grandmother's recipe. It's super easy and comes out creamy and delicious!

Provided by Becky McGinley

Categories     Candies

Time 25m

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 c granulated sugar
1/2 c water
1 jar(s) marshmallow cream
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c chopped nuts (if desired)

Steps:

  • 1. Boil sugar and water until 250 degrees or when it forms a hard ball when you drop a few drops in a cup cold water. (It helps to have a candy themometer).
  • 2. Place marshmallow cream in large mixing bowl. When the sugar water is ready, pour in a slow, thin stream the hot syrup while the mixer is on slow speed. After all syrup is in the cream, add vanilla and if desired, nuts, and put mixer on medium and beat until the cream forms a stiff peak.
  • 3. Drop by spoonful on waxed or parchment paper. When cool, place in tight container and enjoy! P.S. It will make better on a low humidity day.

SHEILA'S CAN'T-FAIL FUDGE

Sheila's Can't-Fail Fudge image

This is the ONLY fudge recipe that I make, which everyone looks forward to around the holidays. My niece Alisa saves her empty container from the year before and brings it to me for her annual refill. She loves to help make this, and it is so easy, even a child can do it! I personally prefer walnuts in my fudge, but it's great either way. It makes a nice gift when presented in a holiday tin. Note: Make only one recipe at a time - do not double!
