HAMBURGER CASSEROLE
Hamburger casserole recipe is the best combination of hearty ground beef, pasta and a creamy sauce. You can serve this with little prep work on busy nights.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- Spray a 13x9 baking pan with non-stick cooking spray
- While cooking sauce, heat water to boiling for noodles
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef and onion together until all the pink is gone, drain if necessary
- Stir in the tomato sauce, sugar, garlic powder, salt and pepper
- Heat to boiling, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes or until sauce is thick
- Stir in the mixed vegetables
- Heat through, about 2 minutes
- Cook noodles according to directions on package
- Drain noodles and add to large bowl
- Stir in cottage cheese, sour cream, cream cheese and ¼ cup parmesan cheese

CHEESY CREAM CHEESE HAMBURGER PASTA CASSEROLE
Cheesy Cream Cheese Hamburger Pasta Casserole is a delicious comfort food casserole. My family has been making this ooey gooey cheesy casserole for years.

Steps:
- Preheat your oven to 350°.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, saute the hamburger and cook until almost cooked through.
- Add the onion, peppers, garlic salt and pepper ad cook until the veggies are cooked through.
- In a medium saucepan boil water for pasta . Add pasta and cook until pasta is just al dente. Do not over cook as the pasta will continue to cook in the oven. Drain.
- Add the cream cheese. If you didn't leave it out at room temperature you can microwave it for a minute in the microwave. Add sour cream and Parmesan cheese.
- In a sprayed 9"x 13" casserole dish, add the pasta mixture. Then add the hamburger mixture and sauce on top and stir until everything is loosely combined.,
- Top with the shredded cheddar or mozzarella.
- Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is heated through. Serve immediately.
PARMESAN HAMBURGERS
Wonderful and very filling hamburgers. This is another childhood favorite of mine. My father used to make these for Employee Appreciation Day for his workers.

BURGER PARMESAN CASSEROLE
Sorry about the poor picture quality. This is a simple but good casserole. It is basically burgers topped with parmesan potatoes. I got this recipe from my aunt several years ago and it has been a family favorite. Aunt ina often took this dish to shut-ins and to church potlucks. it was always welcomed and eaten up quickly!

- Combine meat, bread crumbs, onion, cheese, and egg. Mix well. Form into 4 patties and cook in skillet to medium well done. Place in a 9 inch square baking pan or casserole dish and set aside.
- Turn on broiler to heat. Prepare potatoes and mix with parsley, salt and pepper. Spoon potatoes around the edge of the dish. Broil until potatoes begin to brown. Remove from oven and sprinkle with more parmesan cheese.
- Note: You can add cherry tomatoes cut in half and green pepper strips to the edges of this casserole before broiling if you like.

- Cook noodles according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink, breaking it into crumbles; drain. Kind of like chicken parmesan -- only with hamburger. This calls for the "green can" cheese, but I'm sure you can substitute the real thing. Recipe doesn't specify whether to cover or not while baking. I start out uncovered and cover towards the end, if it starts getting too brown.

- Shape ground chuck into 4 patties, dip in flour, then in beaten egg, then in bread crumbs.
- Brown in oil until light golden brown.

- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon oil over medium-high heat. Add onion; cook and stir until tender, about 3 minutes. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Remove from heat; cool slightly., In a large bowl, combine 1/4 cup marinara sauce, chopped mozzarella cheese, bread crumbs, seasonings and onion mixture. Add chicken; mix lightly but thoroughly. With wet hands, shape into four 1/2-in.-thick patties., In the same skillet, heat remaining 2 tablespoons oil over medium heat. Cook burgers until a thermometer reads 165°, 4-5 minutes on each side. Top with sliced mozzarella cheese; cook, covered, until cheese is melted, 1-2 minutes., Serve in buns; top with remaining 1/2 cup marinara sauce, Parmesan cheese and, if desired, basil leaves.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, saute the ground beef, onion and garlic for 5 to 10 minutes. Drain excess fat. Stir in the tomato paste, water, tomatoes, parsley, thyme, oregano and basil. Set aside.
- Slice eggplant into 1/4-inch rounds. Place a layer of eggplant into the bottom of a lightly greased 9x12-inch glass baking dish. Then place a layer of the ground beef mixture over the eggplant, followed by a layer of sliced onion. Top this with 1/2 the breadcrumbs and cheese. Then repeat the layers: eggplant, ground beef mixture, sliced onion and remaining breadcrumbs and cheese.
