Not all pork chops are cut the same. There's so many different cuts. Adjust cooking time for thicker or thinner pork chops. Some brands of Air Fryers will cook slower or faster than others, adjust accordingly.We cooked the pork chops in a 3.4 qt. Air Fryer. For that size of air fryer, 3 pork chops is about the max without overcrowding the air fryer. If you have a larger size, you can probably cook 2-3 more so long as they are still in a single layer.

3 (6oz.) pork chops (, rinsed & patted dry)
salt (, to taste)
black pepper (, to taste)
garlic powder (, to taste)
smoked paprika (, to taste)
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (, approximately)
1 large egg
Cooking spray (, for coating the pork chops)

Steps:

  • Add seasonings to both sides of the pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  • Add the breadcrumbs in a medium bowl. In another bowl, beat the egg.
  • Dip each pork chop in egg and then dredge it in the breadcrumbs, coating completely. Lightly spray both sides of coated pork chops with cooking spray right before cooking.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer at 380°F for 4 minutes. This will give the pork chops a nice crunchy crust.
  • Place in the Air Fryer and cook at 380°F (194°C) for 8-12 minutes. After 6 minutes of cooking, flip the pork chops and then continue cooking for the remainder of time or until golden and internal temperature reaches 145-160°F.
  • Serve warm.

Perfectly tender and juicy pork chops are what you'll get in just 10 minutes using your air fryer and basic pantry ingredients. Play around with different crouton flavors for variety. I like to use a Misto® sprayer with my own oil, but feel free to use regular cooking spray.

4 boneless, center-cut pork chops, 1-inch thick
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
1 ½ cups cheese and garlic flavored croutons
2 eggs
cooking spray

Steps:

  • Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Place pork chops on a plate and season both sides with Cajun seasoning.
  • Pulse croutons in a small food processor until they have a fine consistency; transfer to a shallow dish. Lightly beat eggs in a separate shallow dish. Dip pork chops into eggs, letting excess drip off. Coat chops in crouton breading and set on a plate. Mist chops with cooking spray.
  • Spray basket of the air fryer with cooking spray and place chops inside, making sure to not overcrowd the fryer. You may have to do two batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  • Cook for 5 minutes. Flip chops and mist again with cooking spray if there are dry or powdery areas. Cook 5 minutes more. Repeat with remaining chops.

Four 1/2-inch-thick, bone-in, pork chops (about 1-1/2 pounds), patted dry
Flour for dredging
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1 1/2 cups fresh sourdough bread crumbs
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
Extra-virgin olive oil for shallow frying
2 lemon wedges

Steps:

  • Put the flour in a shallow bowl or lipped plate. Break the eggs into another shallow bowl and whisk with the salt and pepper. In a third shallow bowl mix the breadcrumbs with herbs.
  • Bread the chops. Dredge a chop in the flour, shaking off the excess, then dip it into the eggs, and finally coat the meat evenly with the breadcrumbs. Set on a piece of waxed paper or baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining chops. Heat a large skillet over medium heat with enough oil to come halfway up the sides of the chops, about 1/4 cup. When the oil shimmers, add the chops and fry 3 to 4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels and serve immediately with lemon wedges.

4 cups cornflakes, finely crushed (about 1 cup)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika
Four 6-ounce center-cut boneless pork chops (1 inch thick), trimmed of excess fat

Steps:

  • Set up a breading station with 3 pie plates or small baking dishes. Add the flour to one. Whisk together the eggs with the Dijon mustard, 2 teaspoons water and 1/2 teaspoon salt in the second. Combine the cornflakes with the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, 1/2 teaspoon salt and a few grinds of pepper in the last.
  • Preheat a 3.5-quart air fryer to 360 degrees F.
  • Sprinkle the pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper. Dredge one at a time, first in the flour, shaking of excess, then in the egg, letting excess drip off, followed by the cornflake mixture. Transfer to a large platter. Repeat with the remaining pork chops.
