Number Of Ingredients 7

1 cup tomatoes, cored and diced (about 3 tomatoes)
1 cup diced green bell pepper (about 1 small bell pepper (cored, seeded and diced))
1 cup diced onion (about 1/2 an onion)
½ cup of a good olive oil
¼ white wine vinegar (or more if you like it more vinegary)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 Tbsp of finely chopped cilantro

Steps:

  • Add the vegetables to a large bowl
  • Add the oil and vinegar
  • Season with salt and pepper
  • Add the cilantro and give it a stir to combine everything
  • Cover and let it sit in the fridge for at least a half hour

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
½ cup mayonnaise
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon oregano

Steps:

  • Heat butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic; cook and stir until the garlic is a light brown, about 2 minutes. Mix in flour; cook and stir until the garlic mixture is a light blonde color, 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in milk a little at a time until combined, 1 to 2 minutes. Add mayonnaise, salt, pepper, and oregano; cook and stir until sauce is smooth and evenly warmed, about 5 minutes.
