2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch cake pan.
  • Combine milk, sugar, cornmeal, eggs, butter, all-purpose flour, and baking powder in a blender; mix until very smooth, about 5 minutes. Pour into the prepared cake pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean, about 45 minutes. Let cool before cutting and serving.

1 tablespoon baking powder
1 pinch salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Grease a 9-inch cake pan.
  • Combine milk, sugar, eggs, Parmesan cheese, and butter in a blender; blend until smooth, about 5 minutes. Add coconut, cornmeal, and flour; blend until creamy. Add baking powder and salt and blend until smooth. Pour into the prepared cake pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until top is golden brown and edges pull away from the sides of the pan, about 30 minutes.
