BOK CHOY STIR FRY - EASY RESTAURANT STYLE RECIPE
Bok choy stir fry might be downright simple for some people, especially those who grew up in a typical Cantonese family. However, it is deceptively tricky to recreate this iconic Chinese dish at home to taste like those from the restaurant. This bok choy stir fry recipe will address all the nitty-gritty.

Steps:
- Heat the oil in a frying pan on low and add the minced garlic. Allow this to fruit in the pan for a few minutes. In the meantime, rinse the bok choy and tear each leaf into three or four equal parts. Don't cut, that will diminish the structure! Add the bok choy to the pan and toss with the garlic and oil. Turn the heat to high and fry until all the bok choy has wilted. Turn heat to low and add salt to taste, toss and serve.
- For a more Chinese style recipe add oyster sauce to the bok choy when it starts to wilt. To make more sauce add some water and potato starch.

I just recently introduced Paul to Bok Choy. He had never even heard of it. I was really happy with his reaction. I thought this was delicious. This is a great side dish to a marinated flank steak and pairs well with a nice Riesling.
