We have these for breakfast regularly, and are great if you're in a rush (get that travel mug ready). It should keep you going all day, but it's quite filling so you might not want to have it right before a workout. Amounts are approximate, and this is great with any kind of fruit.

- Combine all ingredients in a blender (or cup if using a hand blender) and mix until smooth. Add more liquid if consistency is too think for you.
MANGO SMOOTHIE
Steps:
- Stand one of the mangos upright with the narrow end facing you. Slice off the 'cheeks' on either side of the stone and slice these in half lengthwise. Cut around the stone to take off as much flesh as possible, capturing all the running juices in a bowl.
- Remove the skin by peeling or cutting the fruit carefully off it. Repeat with the other mango. Discard the skin and puree the flesh and juice in a food processor or blender.
- Add the milk and sugar, and combine until it becomes a thick smooth mass. Transfer the liquid to a pitcher and chill the mixture until ready to drink. Add the ice cubes to the pitcher and serve straight from the refrigerator. A little goes a long way, so serve in small glasses.

- You don’t NEED a Vitamix to make a smoothie bowl (though I have to say I love mine). A few tips if you don’t have a powerful blender: try a food processor, try a bullet blender, try letting your frozen fruit defrost for a few minutes before blending, or chop up the fruit into very small pieces before blending, add liquid only a little at a time, and stir it in, and stop every so often and scrape down the sides of the container.
- Start by adding the non-dairy milk to the container of your blender. Then add the blue spirulina or butterfly pea flower powder, then add the frozen bananas and any other fruit you might be using.
- Blend, starting on low, and ramp up to the highest speed. If your blender came with a tamper, use that now to encourage the thick mixture to blend. If not, stop every so often and stir or scrape down the sides, adding extra liquid if necessary.
- Once smooth, pour the contents into a bowl, decorate with desired toppings and enjoy! I used blueberries, raspberries, mango, hemp seeds, and raw pumpkin seeds.
