- Evening Candlelight Christmas Tour. A little more expensive but you get access to everything in the day time tour, but your tour is at night, there are live Christmas music performances in the house, and your self-guided visits are done by the glow of candlelight and Christmas lights.
- Extend Your Stay. There’s so much to do at the estate, you will want to stay longer! Check out the on-property hotels; the Inn, the Village Hotel, or one of the private cottages.
- Christmas Cheer. Check out the wines made on property with a wine tasting included in your ticket, and if you want to know more… pay for a behind-the-scenes winery tour and even visit the vineyard on property.
- Outdoor Adventure. There are options to bike, hike, trail ride, kayak, sport clay, a Deerpark riding adventure, and more, just depends on how much time you have.
- Shop for the Season. Looking for a Christmas gift or souvenir will be easy at one of the many shops on the property. My favorites include the “A Christmas Past” and the “Toymakers shop.”

- Horse-drawn Carriage Ride. I mean what is more romantic or fun than a horse drawn carriage ride at Christmas time? The Biltmore Estate offers a few group options and a private option to see more of the property, it is just up to you.

- Research before you go. The Biltmore Estate is massive, with the house, gardens, a winery, shops, 22 miles of hiking trails, restaurants, and a hotel.
- Buy tickets online. Full-priced tickets for the Estate are $60. But the fees are often discounted online, with up to $12 of savings per ticket. And the earlier you book, the more you save, so it helps to plan at least 7 days ahead.
- Visit during w inter. Tickets are substantially less expensive during the winter months, from January to March, going for as low as $39.
- Go for two days. Tickets can be hefty for one day, but adding on a second day for $10-$15 (depending on season) makes a weekend here more reasonable.
