One of those recipes where I got in the kitchen and just looked to see what I had and how I can throw it all together and make it taste good. It is a winner. It's absolutely delicious. The flavor combos are great and big daddy couldn't quit eating it. Took the picture before he got home thank goodness. Enjoy

Number Of Ingredients 10

Ingredients

2 1/2 c cooked brown rice
2 smoked turkey legs, removed from bones and cut into bite size pieces
2 celery stalks diced
1/2 large yellow onion diced
1 medium bell pepper diced
1 10 oz. can rotel chunky diced tomatoes & green chilies
3 clove garlic diced fine
3/4 c mayonnaise
3/4 c sour cream
tony's seasoning, salt & pepper to taste

Steps:

1. Combine mayo, sour cream and rotel and mix well. Add rest of ingredients and mix till everything is coated well. Put into baking approximately 9x9. Bake in a 350º oven for 30 minutes.
2. The flavor combinations are incredible. It is very addictive.

Ingredients

8 ounces egg noodles or 8 ounces wide egg noodles
1 lb ground beef
2 garlic cloves, crushed
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons sugar
16 ounces tomato sauce
1 cup sour cream
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
6 green onions, minced
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated

Steps:

Heat oven to 350°F.
Spray 2-3 quart casserole with non-stick cooking spray.
Cook noodles as directed on package.
Brown beef with garlic until cooked through.
Drain.
Add salt, sugar and tomato sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
Combine sour cream, cream cheese and onion.
Layer 1/2 of the noodles then 1/2 of the meat mixture in casserole dish.
Spread with sour cream mixture.
Top with remaining noodles and the tomato sauce.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Sprinkle grated cheese on top and bake for another 5 minutes.

I can't remember where I got this recipe but there isn't another exactly like it on Recipezaar that I could find. This takes some preparation, but is well worth it. My husband isn't crazy about rice, but loves this dish.

Ingredients

1 (16 ounce) package long grain and wild rice blend
2 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 medium onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup chopped celery
butter
4 cups chopped cooked chicken or 4 cups turkey
1 (10 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1 (4 ounce) jar pimientos, drained
1 (6 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of celery soup, undiluted
1 cup mayonnaise
2/3 cup crushed potato chips
paprika (to garnish)

Steps:

Cook rice in chicken broth until done and set aside.
Saute onion, garlic and celery in butter.
Mix chicken, rice, onion, celery, garlic, water chestnuts, pimientos, mushrooms, soup and mayo in large casserole dish.
At this point it can be refrigerated and baked later if you wish.
Sprinkle with crushed potato chips and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
Note: Fresh mushrooms work very well if sauteed with the onions and celery.
